26k miles now on my 1000+hp z06. Maybe when I hit 40k on the FI build I'll inspect it, but it runs too good to mess with for now.

Drifting
2012 GS
* Maggie Heartbeat
* ~8# (90mm upper)
* 537whp / 485 Tq.
* LS3 stock
* 8k at install, now over11k
* No issues runs great
* 91 octane CNA
* M6
* 11 degrees?
* HB and ZR1 exhaust is it (Z06 fuel pump, KB BAP, Racetronics, DeWitts/160*F stat, Corsa Sport AB's)
* Days off Street Use (just a toy, no track or strip). No hard launches, roll hits only
JRG wrenched, tuned by Matt at GP. Highly recommend both.
IAT's run ~3-5*F above ambient, up to ~8-12*F above ambient on a run, right back down immediately when done.
Love the balance of power plus handling.

Fast intake or no
I have a ls2 corvette, with a 10.2:1 compression ratio. I have a few upgrades as well. I was wondering would the FAST 102 intake have any benefits for my setup. I am at 670/540 hp/tq.

Pretty sure he's higher than that now, on stock bottom end still
Fast is a great add on if you want something that leaks and has parts break off and go through your engine
If you want more power then just go to a slightly smaller pulley and get the extra airflow that way.

2010 Grand Sport
- ECS Novi 1500 kit
- 14psi (8rib setup)
- 779whp/ 686tq (made several 830+whp pulls on 6rib belt during tuning, with minor belt slip, so it was backed down to a "safer" area where it sits at 780whp.)
- Stock LS3 with 224/240 .612/.603 115+5 cam (stock head bolts, stock head gaskets)
- 42,000 miles on car at time of install
- 50k miles and counting as is.
- No failures as of yet (fingers crossed)
- 93 + meth, Alky control kit with dual m10 nozzles, pure m1 methenol
- manual 6spd trans, mantic 9000 twin disk
- 10* timing
- Mod list - "Me-too-bro" kit, ECS Novi 1500 SC kit, custom cam, valve springs, pushrods, ECS stg1 fuel system, ID1000 injectors, Alky Control kit, Mantic 900 clutch, Kooks 1 7/8 headers and catless x-pipe, stock NPP exhaust. done.
- The car has been raced constantly since the completion, 1/2 mile racing, formal roll racing events, drag racing, ect. Its performed flawlessly the entire time.

Nice! What'd you run in the 1/2? And starting stopped or rolling start?
#137
The 1/2 mile events are standing start, my best speed was 161. I had a set of radials with me, unfortunately when I pulled them from the truck to put them on they had a giant hole in the tread of one of them which left me running on the stock runflats for the weekend so I was spinning like crazy. I am fairly certain that during the event the belt was slipping a bit which didn't help my cause at all lol. All the belt slip has since been resolved with the 8rib setup.

Still not a bad speed. I am very close to the same setup. Same supercharger, almost the same cam, etc., 163mph was my best at the last one. I'm on E85 though

I am happy with the result, it was my first 1/2 mile event and my goal was 160+ which I achieved. It certainly didn't help that it was extremely hot that day. The event was a Wanna go Fast event in North Carolina!

Oh yeah, that's the one I was at too.. I did Sunday though. I heard Saturday was miserably hot. Sunday was cool/overcast most of the day which was pretty good weather for an event like that
