Are any of you running 175-200 shot without stand alone? Just running race gas? Boost a pump?

bump this post, see what happened to u guys that went 200+
ill be finding out this year. working on upgradeing all my nitrous stuff right now.
got 1 day last year at the track after cam and stall done. car went 10.030 on a 150 shot. on a very safe tune. 11* pulled
old hsw 90 mm plate and off the fuel rail.

this year got a standalone , and all nx system. changed from the launcher to the max4 controller. not sure which one ill end up using tho.

but im planning 200 at min. and hopefully going for the ls2/3 stock bottomend record. i wasnt reving my car hard at all on the 10.0 passes. 6000 rpm. cam pulles way up into 6800 or 7000 . 111 lobe sep.

Interesting thread , looking at going at least 150 shot the next couple of weeks, went 10.7@ 127 N/A on my bolt on, cam A6 grand sport then a 10.2 @ 132 on 100 shot, sprayed off the line and got a 1.38 60ft. Next step
Is fly cutting pistons and mill the heads .030 ,add a progressive nitrous controler to spray 75 off the line and open up to 150 as soon as it shifts to 2nd gear. Just looking for a 9 second pass without blowing my A6 lol

Hopefully I'll have some time slips to post soon.. I'm going to be spraying 150 shot off the line and a 200 down the track on ls2 HCI stall.. with c16 stand alone & nos mini Controller.. NX dual stage kit ...
N/A ran a 11.3 at 120 mph 1.59 60 ft at 4000DA on 345/30 r19 nt05r
I'll be running weld rts 15x10 with 275/50 hoosier this season .. and weld rts 18s up front ..long as I can hit a 9.999999 I'm happy lol

I think that as long as the tracks first 330 feet is prepared right that you will achieve your goal.

you can buy vp c85 in barrels, the pump e85 doesnt change that much the winter blend is rite around e70 and summer is 80+ish, but you would run e85 on a flex fuel sensor taking the guessing out of it,

Default 200 shot

A cam would be great, but I'm trying to stay on a budget for now. My car is an 08 A6 with z06 exhaust, stock npp mufflers, halltech cai and nitrous outlet direct port kit with standalone fuel system. I'd like to switch over to e85 completely, as I currently run e85 in the standalone anyway. Any thoughts or info anyone is willing to offer? Also, going to a 200 shot, is there anything else I should be concerned about such as drivetrain? Thanks
I had whole lowers end replaced before I ran a 200 shot and drive train too be carefull it could go pop and be just fine depends how deep your wallet is frank I also use 110 race gas alone with methanol injected with twin turbos plus the NOS I spray all they way down the track

h/c ls3 = 505rwhp
+225 nitrous shot on 93 = 710-720rwhp/880rwtq through a nitrous outlet plate kit, no stand alone. Recommended? NO, Lol but it did work without hurting the engine through several ~40bottles, not including the ones when it was on the 150 and 200. No progressive controller either, all in at once for the glory.

we should find out soon, i gonna have mine tuned for a 150 on a dyno then take 4 sets of plugs and start making hits and crank it up each pass. see how it does. having good fuel with nitrous goes a long way..

What kind of fuel system are you running if no standalone?

on fuel pressure, alot ppl i talked to that was top dawg nitrous guys liked low psi like 6 psi or so. but for a 200 shot or so alot those same guys and nx and no said higher psi would be best . it gives u more margin for error. but the lower psi is less likely to get clogged up. but they said just whatever u feel more comfortable tuning.
i first built a low psi setup 5-14 psi capablity . then went back and did a new setup with a 255 inline pump and a weldon regulator thats has the range to do 4-100 plus. im going to stay around the 55-60 psi since thats all ive fooled with in that last 3-4 years.

So are you going to run the in-line pump along with the standalone? Trying to figure out fuel system has been the one thing i'm not settled on.

Would that be the Walbro 450? I've been considering that intank pump and running e85. Not sure if it will keep up making around 700 on spray.
