Default 800 + rwhp stock LS3 short block with F1A

Pushing a stock LS3 short block on pump gas and a big cam.

Specs before the blower install
  • LG Super Pro Long Tubes and exhaust
  • LG G5 Velocity CAI
  • LG G6X3 cam kit
  • LG ported LS3 heads (11.4:1 compression)
  • FAST 102 intake
  • NW 102 TB
  • ASP underdrive
  • Centerforce DYAD clutch
  • DSS shaft and axles
  • Weld RTS 17" wheels
  • 93 pump gas

Before blower numbers vs how it first arrived to us. (517 rwhp)

The above graph was how the car arrived to us about a year ago vs the install of the FAST 102 combo, G6X3 cam, LG ported LS3 heads, and full LG Super Pro exhaust. As you can see it would a stout NA build from the get go, and all components were left un-touched before the blower install.

Procharger front mount 3 core intercooler

F1A Head unit going on

Race by-pass valve

F1A kit finished.

Alky Controls Methanol kit going in

The car is still running on 93 pump gas with the same heads and cam...for those of you that don't think you can force a G6X3

Is that Camaro?

Maybe also hottest air induction kit ever seen?

Ok, just kidding. :-)

In this case..yes it is in a Camaro.

Oddly enough the car has enough frontal area and intercooler the air going in the engine is not that much higher...

Nice! I'm about to swap my Pfadt headers for LG Super Pro 1 7/8 and put a 2.87 pulley on my T-trim. Should be close to or just over 800rwhp. At least I'm not the only crazy bastard pushing a stock LS3 hard.

No.... The crazy bastard that pushed my stock LS3 so hard that the piston gave out is still out there tuning cars and peddling his wares on the forums....but at least you are choosing to push yours this hard.

I hope that she holds up for you.

Just becareful on the tune...and keep in mind at this power level that LS3 isn't going to go 100,000 miles. It's been running like this for some time though. Customer is fully aware of what all is involved in this setup and risks associated with it.

I'll keep the timing conservative and dump a bunch of meth down her throat. I'll probably put her around 700rwhp for daily use and have a tune for those Mexico events.

Should I use any copper gasket spray on the slip fit joints of your headers?

I don't see any reason to do so.

Getting ready to push my LS3 around this mark. Makes me feel a little more comfortable seeing this but I also have 92k miles (only 4k miles with boost).

This car had approx 25k miles when we started the entire build. Another 5-6k miles on the heads/cam/intake and we are going on a couple thousand with boost now.

Well it uses a 12 rib drive setup from ATI and the lower is the standard size, blower pulley is a 4.5"
