My 6 rib with DP direct drive isn't liking the 2.87" blower pulley.
I tried tightening the belt today and only saw 12.5psi up top. I don't want to crank down on it too hard for fear of messing up the water pump. I'll be talking with Josh at A&A about either doing an 8 rib or 10 rib. I'm leaning toward 10 rib if I'm going to spend the money. At least I only have to do the crank pulley, blower pulley, and a couple of idlers. I may do their upgraded bracket since taking the blower off to change a belt is a pain in the rear.

Do the 10 rib for sure if going to the trouble. That way when you switch to a YSI next year, your ready for it. You may have to space the rack forward to clear the 10 rib. Not sure on a C6 but on a C5 you do. Just FYI.

Aahhhh, the beauty of a C6. You won't have to space out the rack. I have a 50mm cog on mine and the rack is in they factory location. It's tough getting the belt between the pulley and the rack but it fits.

I agree with doing 10 rib.

I'm about to buy a flip drive kit and figured I would also add the tensioner and upgrade to more ribs, sounds like might as well go with 10. I am new to corvettes and have a 2006 z51. How much of a PIA is it to swap the crank pulley. What else should I do while there...radiator?

If you do a radiator and you have a centri blower, just get the shorter radiator so you can fit a 4" inlet tube like the Dallas Performance inlet. Unless you car is running hot in the summer during in town driving, I really wouldn't worry about the radiator. Mine is since I'm in Phoenix, so that's on my list of upgrades before summer hits again.

I do plan on some road course racing but think I'll wait and see what temps I run. Going to switch to a vented hood because I like the look so that will help.
I have the tools to pull the crank, just looks like a PIA because of the space.
