I have the MAST 305cc heads and the Katech covers and my stock alternator is just barely coming into contact with the driver side valve cover, so either I can remove the alternator and trim the fin that is touching, or I can shave a little off the valve cover.....or if these have a slightly smaller body or length, I'd be interested in buying a black setup for my C6Z, 6rib.
It is slightly smaller all around.
You can tell by comparing to stock one this is built much better. Quality USA built product.

I've got almost your exact setup. MAST 285's with Katech and no rubbing. I'll post up in a few.

That's cool. If that's the case, shoot me a price.

Thanks to Bret for amazing service on this purchase. Most helpful and fast shipping.

Obviously the most important thing is how this unit performs, which I can't comment on yet. I will say the unit is pretty amazing looking for an alternator. Almost too nice. When I opened it up to clock it, and it looks like a piece of art inside. Didn't think to take a picture. Very impressive. Fits perfectly too.

What do they weigh compared to the stock one? Do you offer a lightweight race version?
Love the black one!

They're significantly smaller than stock and although I don't have a quality scale, they're about 15.5lbs.

If you want to send me one for testing purposes, I'll be more than happy to weigh it on a quality scale

It is smaller than the stock one. I didn't weigh it but it seemed to me about the same as stock. Can't be more the a couple of lbs difference one way or the other.
