Default Supercharger dip stick, Uh Oh! HELP

It has happened. I have rounded out the hex head on my Paxton SC head unit. Has anyone else been down this road? I tried the next size up allen key, no luck, went up one more, no luck. Any ideas????

Subscribing to this thread, because mine is the same way.
I drained mine and filled through a different hole.

Dremel a cut into it and turn it into a flathead and then take if off that way and just buy a new one from Vortech when you get it off

Can't really see striping one like this but just use an easy out to remove it then order a new dip stick or plug whichever one went bad!

Get an EZ Out, those brass plug heads are soft. You really have to be careful how tight you crank them down, I put mine back just slightly better than finger tight after almost stripping it out the last time.

Thanks for the feedback. I got the vent plug out. Temps too cold in garage to continue will pick back up tomorrow.

I got the dip stick out. Due to the angle I did not attempt to cut across the head but instead cut a slot in the side vertically. The vertical slot allowed me to use a small flat blade screwdriver and rubber mallet an lightly tap until the dip stick broke loose.

Sometimes rounded off allens you can go ahead and grab a torx bit of similar size (Little tap from a hammer) and grab on it. You will most likely ruin most of the socket head too when you do this. I have had to do this when we get in Procharger's with the allen bolts that people think need to be 150 ft.lbs because it holds a bracket onto the head unit
