243s with a fast 92 or ls3 heads with ls3 intake
I'm installing a turbo kit on my ls2 c6 and I'm thinking of changing my heads.
Right now I have lightly polished stock ls2 heads and a fast 90 intake. I'm thinking of changing to a set of stock ls3 heads and ls3 intake.
Aside from lowering the compression will the ls3 heads make more power then my current setup. I've read they flow very well and have larger valves.
I can get the heads and intake for roughly $750 so after selling the 243s and fast I should be able to put a few bucks back into my pocket.
What do you guys think ?

Advanced
If you can swap to ls3 heads and put cash back into your pocket I would do it. You will probably pick up a few hp over your 243's and fast intake as well as lower your compression ratio which will be better for your new setup.

Now I need to figure out what to do for a cam. The only info I got on the cam that's in the car now is he thinks its 595 lift with 223 duration. Wish I had a cam card or part number.
I don't understand how people don't know what parts they have in their car.
The car has lumpy aggressive idle so I think the lsa is probably not ideal for a turbo car.
Has anyone made decent power with none turbo specific cam. I'd be happy with somewhere around 700whp. I don't think it's too much to ask from a precision billet wheel 7675.

Don't sound like you'll be running high boost to cause a problem with the Fast, but I'm sure that cam will work ok even if not ideal...we just made 1038rwhp SAE with a 370ci TT at 19psi and a Trex cam lol
