Default The Guess the Numbers Game (getting tuned today)

So some of the people know me or know the car. I bought the supercharged 2005 Z51 a couple years ago.
I have had a ton of problems since i got it and have been replacing things left and right on the car. Most of which was poor installs, looks like some poor breaking in on a few things as well.
Well finally think i got it all back up and running and is ready to be tuned tonight.
I know what i expect to see out of the setup, curious what you guys all think.

New setup:

Forged Ls3 stock cube shortblock
9.5 compression
230/238 cam .600/.615 lift (Aruns Jam Cam)
AFR 230 Cathedral port heads (mamofied)
Fast 102 (mamofied)
Paxton novi 2200SL @17psi

91 octane tune

Going through a Tr6060

Previous setup made 745 wheel, 660 torque, stock cube ls2, stock 243s, stock ls2 intake, on 91 octane
It did make 792rwhp on 93

The Only thing i think may be a problem is fuel delivery. I still have the ECS stage 1 fuel system. It was their first Stage 1 system, which i think is beefier than the current one, so i didn't change anything on it yet. If fuel delivery is an issue, i plan on swapping out the single inline pump to the Holley Dominator twin inline and hope that is a good remedy, since it is a damn near a direct swap.

Loved this car man I was thinkin' about buying it actually when it was up for sale... The price was a steal but I lend up buying a new GS and putting the mod $ into it myself... Are you gana be running meth along with the 91? And what was done poorly on the car that you been fixing? I'm rele curious to see the #s because I have plans to do a stock block ls3 build in the future too and it would be similar to yours... Good luck with everything bud

Yes I am running meth on it as well.
Basic run down of issues that i have had in 2 years.

Had the car 3 months, and the RPM Stage 3 diff exploded. It was under normal conditions on a public street, i was not racing, i was only doing about 45mph
Replaced with brand new ZR1 differential.

2 months later Fan wiring melted (apparently somewhat common failure)

2 months later alternator went out

6 months later i blew a freezeplug out while on the track (scared the crap out of me)
This was a result of someone not properly torquing the heads. Car was said to have ported/polished 243's, well whoever swapped them out for stock ones, torqued the heads down to stock specs, not to the ARP head studs specs, i lifted the heads and supercharged my cooling system. Oh they also swapped out the chromoly push rods for stock ones.

At that time i upgraded heads, and went to the Jam Cam

Replaced alternator again (stopped charging on the dyno)

Then the clutch went out (RPS twin appeared to be improperly broken in, it should have handled the power, but look beat up when it came out) Clutch was slipping on the dyno (second attempt at retuning)

Then went to get back on the dyno after properly breaking in the clutch (500 street only miles)

Not getting proper oil pressures.

pulled the block sent to machine shop. They don't like anything they saw at all. Smooth cylinder walls (im guessing from water getting in) shaved bearings here and there. Was told to start from scratch.

September 2013, started buying parts for a new build. Brand new LS3 bare block, weisco pistons, arp mains, ect ect ect

Total spent to date, around $22k on top of the $34k i bought the car for. (some of that was desired upgrades, but around $18k was fixing broken crap)

Which brings us to today. Should be on the Dyno at Synergy Motorsports around 2pm my time

Oh, and I don't have a choice but to run 91. We don't have 93 in our state (good ole Cali) E85 is not available hardly anywhere where i live, (closest one is about 20 miles) And I am not going to run race gas.
I drive my car pretty often, and i know i can get 91 anywhere.

You need to block off the regulator in the tank so the boost referenced regulator is functional, then yes it is. That makes it what is presently our stage 2 fuel system. The block off is $37 on it's own, you must drop the tank to install that.

Just get FIC 1/2 top side adapters and clips. What are the new injectors ls3 height?

Where did you buy them? Pics?

They are prob ls2 height with your current setup being ls1 height. Are you spacing the fuel rail up for your previous injectors? If so they may fit with the removal of the rail spacers without needing a height adapter on the injector.

I think you had Siemens 80s in ls1 height. I honestly dont think you need a 1200cc injector for your setup running a return system with meth on top. An 850cc injectors should be fine to make 900+ rwhp with enough meth.

Yes the ones in it are rated at 73lbs on my car. When i tried to tune it last time (before the new shortblock) they were at 95% duty cycle.

From what i got out of Rick, there are 2 different size LS2 style injectors, and they are about 10mm different in height. My rails are set up for the longer style, but the new injectors are the shorter style.
It is my understanding that i can just get a different set of brackets for my rails, but the problem is i don't know what rails they are. There is no markings on them at all.
I hit up Arun already to see if he can swap injectors for a longer style. Just waiting on his reply now.
