Mah bad on bringing a somewhat old thread, but how many other have bought these?

Breecher, what do you use your car mainly for?

Doug, do you know if these Level 2 coilovers would be a good fit for someone that does a lot of roll racing, some drag racing as well?

Thx

To clarify, they were not installed on MY car. I installed them on my best friends 1000whp YSI powered C5Z. Car is a daily driver during summer months and sees quite a bit of roll racing and road course racing.

The build quality on these are top notch and the customer service from both Ridetech and ECS is even better. In my opinion, they are the best deal on the market. RideTech's warranty alone is bulletproof and untouched by anyone else that im aware of.

Funny you asked Mookster, we are literally in the middle of an install on a C6 now that is being set up for half mile events as I type this. We have installed plenty of these now with good results.

^^Breecher, did you install the "Level 2" coilovers on the customer's car?

Doug, which ones are you in the middle of installing?

Aside from adjustability on the fly with Level 3 ones, what are the other differences?

To clarify, i mainly would be driving on the street and racing in either 1/3 mile or 1/2 mile roll racing events.

Thx

To be real clear what we are trying to do on Mookies car is plant 1,000-1,100rwhp at a 40-70MPH roll to 160-190MPH on an unprepped surface.

the power plant is a 427 Twin Turbo with M6

Doug, having said this do you think H Series coilovers would do?

I kind of got screwed by pfadt when they went bk with money paid for a set of their coilovers but never recieved, thankfully the distributor honored that cash paid anyway and got me some LGs but if I were to do it again I'd get double adjustables for sure.

They are the single adjustable coil overs and they have held up great so far. Car makes the same kind of power yours should and sees some pretty serious abuse.

I have nothing but great things to say about the product or the customer service that goes with it. Darren at ridetech worked hard with us to get the appropriate spring rate figured out for the extra weight of the iron block and the blower. After swapping springs a few times we got her dialed in really well.

You will be hard pressed to find better service, the guys over at RideTech are real car guys that actually race. The owner is constantly involved in different events.

Couple photos of that build...

(yeah yeah, I know his garage is a complete mess....)

And if Doug got off of the forum long enough to finish that C6, I'd be able to drive my car and give my opinion of the RideTechs................

Let's get this phase done so the "minor" oil change it needs after the April event can occur.

Yes I do, like others said, we have found softer settings is the ticket for your application.
