Yes I did thanks to LTstewy8 who next dayed it to me.
Thanks for asking.
Im almost done, I pined the crank, polished and installed the S/C , installed the IC .
I will be installing the plumbing today, but waiting on the oil hoses that seem to be lost in shipping.
I would be planning on starting it and having it tuned by the end of the week but we are getting another big snowstom this week, so I guess I have more time to make it pretty.

I think he means the oil cooler lines that the seller was sending him. They aren't needed (as I'm sure you know), but it's way cleaner when you use the early Z51 line set. I've done it both ways and changing the lines is the way to go.

This sucks. not happy, I been busting my A$$ to get it installed, already spent $50.00 to next day a pin kit, $50. on hoses and clamps that were missing but did not complain. Now I need to find and buy oil hoses and wait week or so for them.
I want to do everything right and clean so I need the short hoses, there has already been enough cutting on a car that not even a year old.
I cant afford to buy new hoses, I hope I get enough to have it tuned.
The big problem is my wifes car died and shes driving my truck to work so I have nothing to drive and Im cut off from spending any more.
To those of you who said do not buy a used kit and wait, thanks..wish I listened, I was suppose to get everything I needed instead I got missing parts, more $$$ spent and more time waiting.
Now I have a non running 13 G/S and over $4k less to move to Fl. in a few months and a pissed wife who does not trust me with money now.
Do you know exactly what year/model hoses am I looking for? not that I have the $$$ or time but don't know what else to do, I know I can use what I have but do not want to do it over and loose oil later.

Run the $10 oil block off plate for now and add the lines later when you get them or have the money. Simple, easy and IMO the best thing to do anyways.
That is the part of a used kit, you save $1500+ but need to inventory and spend a few bucks on clamps/etc. You could have got a parts list from A&A and inventoried before starting.
Or just use what you have now and swap it at the next oil change.

Thanks,I could but I like to do things right the 1st time and don't know when I will be able to do it since Im moving soon it it will be my driver.
It will be my only transportation besides my bike but its too cold still, I just had to give the wife my truck because her car blew up and burnt in the driveway yesterday.
. I don't even know were to look for the hoses.

Any GM dealer. 06-08 z51 oil cooler hoses. Honestly no one will see them, and the z06 ones fit fine. If money is a concern, just use your current ones and move on. When you get them, the only thing will will notice is the new ones are ~1.5" shorter, otherwise they look the same. If you had time/money it isn't a big deal to drop $180 on the
07 z51 oil cooler pipe, MSRP $176.37

Hell, I think I have some in the garage. I'll check at lunch. I had them on my car. Pay shipping and you can have them.

they are both only 1.5 shorter? that's all?
It does not seem to be worth changing.
trying to find picts of the difference but no luck. Ill put them in place and see how it looks.
Thanks for the part # and for the offer .

Plug in your current lines, and if you don't like the way they fit, then work on getting the z51 lines. I have both at home. I can try to take a picture. Probably can't even tell the difference in a picture.

I ran the stock Z06(grand sport) oil cooler lines to the DeWitts for over 10k miles. Just have to maneuver them and they'll work just fine, no need for the Z51 set.

Gave away the factory lines but here are custom ones I made and the z51 lines. Nothing special to them.

That's slick unreal, I should start looking at it like one of my rods and I could make anything.
Great news ,they showed up today, looks like the usps lost and found them, the box was so beat but hoses were fine. I know what Im doing tomorrow.

Yep, you beat me to it.
I'm pretty sure the difference is a lot more than 1.5", though. I'd probably say 6" is more like it. The stock ones were fine for me on my last car (i.e. no issues), but I never liked how I had to route them. I just swapped out the stock Z06 style lines on my GS a couple weekends ago, so it's all pretty fresh in my mind. I think it's a lot cleaner, but that's just my opinion.
