I run the same 4.25" pulley on an F1R, running thru a 4" pipe/air filter and you guys are 9 mph faster.... I think I'm doin it wrong...
I just tightened my converter so I think Ill go 153 or so thru the filter...Maybe 154-155 thru the velocity stack... Still 5 mph slower then yours..... I'm thinking the PG is making all the difference... Less parasitic loss...
I'd kill to have your MPH with this F1R....I wouldn't even think about swapping blowers if I could run 160.....

When it went 151 mph, I was on 93/meth (M15/M10 nozzles), thru the air filter. Timing was 15*. Converter was a little loose at 11.5%. Now the converter is tightened (not sure what the % slip is yet).. Raceweight is right at 3610lbs
Next time it goes to the track it will be with the velocity stack on, Q16 and 17* timing... shooting for 8.90@155... That's if I can get +1000' DA or better...and if the rear end stays together...

Up your timing.... Esp if it takes it. 15 degrees on pump and meth is ok but a tad low. All depends what the car likes but if its getting no knock creep up on it.
Im at around 20 depending on how hot the AIT's get during the pass and pull some out.
I dont think you need Q. Try C first. and creep up on the timing.

I've been as high as 17* on the dyno with 93/Meth with no KR, 100* IAT....But I wouldn't trust it on actual street/track pulls with that.
Bret told me he has ran them as high as 20* on Q16 or MS109 and made some good mph gains..
I will try to bump it some next trip out if the traction/DA is there.... I don't want to get greedy and hurt my perfect running engine, but I'd love to get closer to 160 mph... (hell I'd settle for 155 mph at this point).
Thanks for the info!

Thank you
Had it on the dyno the other day and boost only it made 868. I only made one dyno pull bc i do most of the tuning at the track
3.42 gear yes. Stock diff with 300m shafts.

868rwhp through an unlocked big stall powerglide is worlds apart from 868 in a locked converter, or manual car. That is easy 1000+ on a manual.
