Default Procharge D1SC --- What's your Max boost with 6 Rib Pulley?

What's the most psi you can run on a 6 rib setup without slip?? (Planning to add forged pistons for use with the stock ti rods)

I think a lot and take a deciton that I'll get a pistons now just to get more boost so how about 10-12Psi with the same old stuff.

Mast heads 285
VR blower cam
Kooks 1-7/8

so a pistons and pulley added to the list, also any recommendations about Forged LS7 pistons - stock rods need something to lower the compression a tad for some boost.

Just add a flip drive or direct drive from Dallas or Cartek and you can easily run the boost you want for stock bottom LS7.

Hussam,

thanks for replay I think I'll stay with the 6 rib, cause I am going to replace it with F1X or F2 with a built engine sure not now, I'll try to hit the 800 to 900 for this season and I am sure it's not enough to enjoy a streetracing here. so I thud a pulley and pistons will save me just to complete this season, I was planning to run 8PSI with 100 shot or 10-12 without nitrous! cause you know the LS7.

11PSI on stock pistons that's will be a end of story on LS7, now I am about to get my new setup( Heads/Cam ) so I'll be in 700 for sure, but what I thud I should go with piston and more boost cause from what I read the goofy stock pistons can't handle anymore than 6!!! so that I thud a pistons will help me goes up, you know am not ready to get a short block just spent more than 11K which is enough for this season I'll try to get some more stuff later but if pistons and pulley are recommended I'll get them, before the season started here!

you should be fine... your going to bleed off boost.. my customer in the what cam for boost ls7 thread made 712rwhp with full ehxaust,7lbs of boost and my custom cam. no meth or ported heads. If you want to throw some forged pistons in there and have a good shop to do a motor throw some weiscos in there. will take what you are going to throw at them and more with ease. i would personally run the meth also since its already on there also

11psi is nothing on a stock ls7, guys have put 15 psi with no problems, make sure your tune is spot on... 6 psi is a waste of time In my opinion.. But that's just me.. Good luck with your build

that's a good chance to go with a pulley now, if it's can hold it on pump gas! cause I am not spraying the meth, while my tuner hate it.

Look for a new tuner if he hates meth.

the problem is we don't have good tuners here they're counted on one hand fingers! one of them didn't work good with cars that he don't know the owners and other one blowing engine every 2 weeks and some of them don't know what to do with the car.

I'll give you a review about someone " went to him with my ex-C5Z and there was a big drop starting from 5K RPM he thud its a piston stopped! I was like WTF! then a few minutes later a guy asked me if he can check the plugs so I let him do what he want and we find 2 broken plugs "

So it's hard here to trust someone to tune your car cause they're not professionals and the professionals are "only" working good on their own friends cars.
