Has anyone here converted to a solid rear axle or have any info on some one who has? going to need to for a build we have coming together and looking to get a little info before we tear into it.

Not without a bunch of chassis mods. Paul Majors runs a solid rear. RPM has a 9" IRS rear combo.
Pictures of pauls car here. It is a c5

Problem with solid axle is you need to run a normal tranny/driveshaft up front, which means a lot of hacking/etc. Only solid axle late model vettes I've seen are tube front with motor plates, then fab up a 4 link solid axle setup for rear. So if it is a full out race car, take it to a quality chassis shop and let them go crazy. It will be a full chassis build.
