This fuel tube is killing me...

Anybody have a recommendation on how to install it or another type of e85 compatible submersible hose?

I've used the same hose several times. Sometimes it can be a bit tight. If you have a heat gun that is best, or borrow a hair dryer from the lady. Heat the tube end just enough to be able to get it over the connections. Then let it cool. Just be sure your clamp is over it before pushing on obviously... crimp the clamp, and call it a day.

I tried a hair dryer and boiling water, I didn't want to over heat it, but I guess I need more

Did you get the 8mm or 8.5mm tube?

Yea, may just need a bit more heat. You'll need enough to get the tube to form around the barbs on the connections. There are also some small rings on the inside of the tube. Usually 3. A big gap between 2 towards the tube end, and small gap between the inside 2. Push until the barb is in the small gap and put the clamp on the big gap.

I've used both. The 8.5 definitely goes on a bit easier, but only comes in one length. If the length works for your setup, then may try that if you don't want to heat the 8mm up any more.

Yea, that one's too short. Just bought a heat gun to try once more, then going with a traditional submersible hose

Yep the sae 30r10 has the same material on the inside and outside as sae 30r6 standard fuel injection hose does inside.

The flywheel is installed and locked, so I'll drop the motor in after I torque the bolt (feels like I've said that too many times )

I had to use the Edelbrock 8896 water pump to fit the wider 10-rib belt (I have no idea how guys get the ls3/ls7 water pumps to work without massive belt overhang):

For the belt to fit I had to grind down the '8896' casting on the front of the pump:

The coolant port is also in a different spot than the ls3/7 pumps and has a large casting chunk that interferes with the procharger bracket. I had to grind the corner down:

I don't know what I'd do without my laser alignment tool, it took a few shims behind the blower pulley to get it lined up with the crank pulley:
What did you use for that laser alignment tool?

The Aeromotive banjo just barely fits... options here must be petty limited if you're not willing to modify the firewall

The Fore Inovations fitting work well and the fitting I use from Brown and Miller racing are the best. No modification needed.

I have a good 1/4-1/3" of clearance with my fuel rails and aeromotive fitting. It really depends on what rails you have.

What rails do you run?

This looks like it'll work fine and its hard to beat the price of the Holley rails, but I think some companies mill down the rail to not waste space
