Just FYI, the two pictures from lg motorsports are really different. I cut to match the first picture and had enough clearance for a test drive, but it rubbed the barrel of the wheel pretty bad and I had to remove a lot more material like picture 2.

It depends on the wheels, and ride height, and how much you squat. The second picture looks a lot more like what I did.

yea, I'm pretty low and it squats pretty good on the DRMs and stock springs.

I bounced it around on the alignment rack and have a pretty good idea for where it's still to close, but it only touches on extreme dips or bumps as of now.

Feels good to have it aligned... I got the toe and thrust angle decent w/ a tape measure, but it still needed some work

I got the spindles and wheels/tires new/used for about $2350 I think it was. I happened to have the base brakes and caliper mounts, or that would be more $. I had to buy a sawzall and some grinding/cutting disks. The 17's and tires are more expensive than 15's though, so theres some cost saving there...

I really liked my 17's with M&H 325/45-17s. Honestly, with the torque curve of the new blower, I could have probably gotten by on the 17s for rolling 3rd gear starts. I may be able to get the 15s to work from 2nd though.

The ****** thing is, it just snowed for the first time in KS today... so my season is over. I'll have to wait for a nice day hopefully in the 60's to try some testing, but otherwise it'll be an experiment for next year.

Spindles $1500
Wheels $450
Tires $500
Mount/balance $30
Used c5 brakes brackets/caliper $150
Pads $90
Rotors $140

That is what it was in parts to do 15s. If you add labor, probably add another $800-1000 for install of them.

Looks great with the 15's. As you might remember I copied your 17 setup which I think looks great also. So far I am happy with the 17's but might be making some changes over this winter. I hope to avoid going to 15's but time will tell.

I came across a decent deal on a 3" cut down RSD radiator, so I picked it up. I have an idea for a revised inlet setup on the current blower or maybe making space for a future blower upgrade.

What are people doing for the fan/shroud setup on a cut down radiator?

I'm using a Dewitts dual Spal fan shroud, but my radiator is only cut down 2".

Did you buy the c5 one?

http://www.dewitts.com/collections/s...te-fan-upgrade

The c6 doesn't have a short version listed and is plastic

I could probably make a custom one or customize the c5 shroud

I used the C6 one for my Dewitts cut down radiator. Had to mod the lower section a little, No big deal.
