Default Experience with Turbo Technology kit on C6ZO6?

Did a search and ended up reading a good number of pages, but not much directly on topic or helpful for my question.

Looking for impressions/feeback on the Turbo Technology C6 ZO6 kits.

http://www.turbotechnologyinc.com/site/?page_id=320

Please only post if you have direct experience and let's also please not turn this into another "my turbo kit is better than your turbo kit" thread. That's what wasted a lot of my time while trying to find info on just this one exact kit.
I'm only trying to get honest evaluations on the TT C6Z kit and that kit alone. Thanks!

We have had VERY good luck with them... Built NUMEROUS C6Z's with TTIX kits that all made over 1000rwhp... Never a single problem.

great kit for sure.. just make sure you get the upgraded down pipes and turbos.. only thing i dont like about the kit is being able to control boost at the low level. other than that its a great kit.

I like mine. I just wish it could fit T4 housings and bigger wastegates.

I'm on the fence. Mine has made good power but I've had issues and have become disenchanted but no one else I know has had my issues so I think it's specific to my setup. I know user_name has had issues with boost control (could not get less than ~16# on wastegates) with smaller cubes and the 62/65's with 3" downpipes and is disenchanted with his too. Is it a bad kit? No. I don't think I'd buy another though.

Works well when you add the right heat protection.

I had a TTiX kit on an 07 Z06 and had overheating issues. If you don't have the right radiator and fan combo you could have issues. I live in Georgia and it gets really hot and humid here.

Making good power with TTi kits hasn't been an issue since the Stage 1-4 days (pre 2005). The issues are boost stability (specifically people with the 62/65 turbos and 3'' DP running low boost) and heat management (they run hot - probably caused by excessive back-pressure given the small pipes).

I've had the X kit on my C5 since 2005. The car runs 9s @ 140+ on pump gas with a pinch of meth. Other than having to upgrade the BOVs and a couple clamps that came with the kit I can't complain.

I run an iron block, and the only time it ever gets warm is sitting in traffic on a 105° day with the AC on. When it hits 235, I just kill the AC until it drops back to 220. I run a Dewitt's radiator with the factory fan.

I spray a shitload of meth through it. The wastegate boost can only go down to 11psi, but oh well.

Dave, what is your full exhaust setup and what kind of power do you make at 11 psi? Are you running the 9# WG springs without any shims?

If you don't have a budget you are better off with a great fabricator making you a kit. It probably is the best "kit" out there, but there are so many things I'd do different starting from scratch. They make 1000hp or so pretty easily. You have to get rid of backpressure to go farther. The wastegate priority is just all wrong, so don't plan on making less than 800rwhp on low boost. My experience is on a c5z, but it's the same parts minus routing. I'm planning on selling my kit, but it's mainly b/c I don't care for the maintenance of big HP.

11psi on the gates made 800whp. My gates have 4psi springs in them I believe, but I have no issues running 22psi. I had to have new exhaust built to clear the 4L80, so it's all 3" v-banded now, and the mufflers have been gutted to be true 3" as well.
