Default Tuning Question???

Is there any reason a car should need retuned if you havent changed anything?
I have an ECS SC 1500 with meth and stock ls2. Had it tuned when everything
was installed like 4yrs ago made 711/646. I have a buddy with an LS1 with 100 shot
and when we run I only pull on him like 3 cars. It doesnt seem right. I feel like I should pull more. Lol..

Not necessarily a "retune", but a check over to make sure everything is functioning correctly.

you could have a malfunction meth pump, O2 sensor, boost leak, etc etc. So agree a check over, especially over 4 years, is in order.

Funny thing...I have seen that a lot too! The nitrous cars with minor bolt ons seem too run just as fast... a lot of times faster than the high power supercharge cars..... I really was interested in buying an supercharger kit, for the 600hp to the wheels, but I would be disappointed if an 100-150hp nitrous car with hardly no bolt on runs away from me.....

Look at the power of the nitrous vette all the way through the rpm range that you're using. The peak numbers matter, but that number is only a small slice of the performance pie. With nitrous, there's not even a small instance that the power is not there (unless your bottle runs dry). Also know that the nitrous motor isn't nearly as affected by heat.

If not for the constant bottle filling and all that goes with it, I'd ditch the supercharger in a Heartbeat...
