Mods: 1.75" KookHeaders, catless w/Borla Stingers; 226/238, 115+3 Cam
springs w/ Ti retainers; KB BAP; Racetronix harness; LS9 Injectors
Pulley: Stock 96mm
Boost: 6.5 psi max
Fuel: 93 pump w/ 16*
HP/Torque: 581 / 483 Mustang dyno
Results: Flat our scary with good years, even in 3rd. No blower noise at all - was hoping for some "whine" but with the cam and stingers, you don't hear any blower noise. 1st gear is useless.

ls1wolf, those are some good numbers with only 6.5 psi. Must be the tuner!
If you want to hear some blower whine, pulley that sucker down a bit. But, please ditch those GY runflats first.
Mine used to be quiet too, especially with the 96mm, and even with the 90mm.
But now with the 3.2" GripTech and the 10% OD balancer, it whines pretty good. Most times you can't hear the blower over the tires screaming though!

Yup, you are right... I have about a season left on the good years... (6/32 left!)
The cam is helping the HP number for sure... It kept going up! but the tuner and I didn't want to keep spinning the motor with the stock bottom end.. I'm hoping with a smaller pulley that I can pull the TQ up a bit and limit the RPM on the top end.
I'm thinking about the ID850's and a 90 or 87mm pulley... Not sure which one to go with. I know everyone here will say the smallest pulley as possible. haha... May have to wait till next summer, the wife isn't so happy about the blower already this summer!

In my view, the ID850s are worth every penny, and are all you'll ever need for the C6 heartbeat, as long as we're pulley limited to 12psi or so (with a cam). I'm at around 68-70% max IDC now with those, and I'm practically out of pulley options.

I would just throw a 90mm on it for now and see what it does. That made a noticeable difference on my car, even with the stock cam. I was getting pretty close to maxing out the LS9 injectors with the 90mm pulley, so I wouldn't go any smaller than that unless you are going to change the injectors. Come to think of it, with that cam and making that power, you're probably close to maxing those injectors out now?

I need to find a good sale on some ID850's.... Best price I seems to find is 920$

I've been travelling all over Europe for the past couple of weeks, and I'm getting withdrawal symptoms myself, especially since I'm constrained to drive a gawdamn VW caravelle diesel powered van, loaded with kids, on the autobahn! what's even worse of all is that we've so far visited the Ferrari museum in Maranello, and today we're on the way to Ingolstadt to visit the Audi museum and tomorrow I'm going to take a friend to Stuttgart to see the Porsche museum. Man, I'm really looking forward to getting back home next week so I can blast the old GS.

That must be torture - to be around all of that high performance automobile culture and history, and have to get back in the VW diesel
I'd bet you give anything to have your car with you now, LOL.
Have a safe, fun trip my friend! She'll be waiting in the garage when you return

Did about everything wrong. It was a two day rally. The dragstrip was one of the stops. First time on a strip in 42years . Over 1/2 tank of gas, tires at 32 pounds, 40lbs of gear in cargo bay, and threat of rain and RE11 Bridgestones which were great on some of the back roads griped very well in dry weather, so I just wanted to give it a try. redlined on second pass. Have video but too large to post on here. But the rally was very fun, and alot of corvettes in attendance. Like alot of people say "seat time" a must. car has 602rwh. The event was "Central Crown Rally 2016" look it up on youtube great fun for car guys. I know I can do better and of course I know its not the car. Also I shifted at 6200rpms was in a hurry to get to the next gear" lol" the trap came up fast.

Haha. Glad to hear you're back on the strip after a 42 year sabbatical, Scotty!
You can definitely do better than that. It must be spinning like hell out of the hole, which you can see from the 60' time. Track looks unprepared too. Maybe get yourself some drag radials for the next trip to the track. Just don't wait so long for the next time!
Glad to hear you're having fun with it though. That's the most important thing.

Racer
What the heck, I don't have any dyno numbers (although I'm sure that I could make some up if provoked). Sans dyno testing, below is my Heartbeat combo:
Model: 2013 GS A6
Motor: Stock LS3 long block,
Mods: 1.75" Pfadt Headers, catless w/NPP; VR PD-1 cam: 223/239,
.610"/.623",118+4, w/ BT springs & Ti retainers; KB BAP;
Racetronix harness; ID850s; Melling HV/HP OP;
IW10% OD Balancer; 3600 FTI; Z06 diff with 3.42:1 gears
Pulley: GripTech 3.2" (6-rib)
Boost: 12 psi max
Fuel: 93 pump with Octane booster w/ 15.5* or Race gas w/ 17*
HP/Torque: Unknown
Results: Very happy with car. Way too much torque to hook with Nitto
NT05R 345s. Pulls like a beast up top.

To be honest, the gears are too much for this setup. It simply cannot hook with the 345 Nittos that I use for street driving. The 28" M&Hs hold a little better, but still can't hook it completely until 3rd. I'm thinking I'll probably put the stock rear end back in it.
Your car was the inspiration for my build, BTW, and I used the tune I got from you as the basis for the tune I'm using now, although it needed a good bit of tweaking to the MAF tables for my combo (thanks, schpenxel!).
What I would have liked to know is how close your cam specs are to mine. I was going to buy the DP 6X, but I refuse to buy a cam if I can't get a spec sheet for it.
I see that Procharger combo is working for you. 5 secs in the 1/8 is impressive. I needed 1,000 HP in a race car to run that on our crappy old track... The best I could get out if it was a 5.7 @125, spinning and sliding the whole way
