Magnuson says 10-12 hours to install. I'm pretty sure I spent a lot more time than that doing mine, but my standards for install quality are probably a little different than most.
The good news is almost zero cutting or drilling is required. A couple holes in the radiator shroud is about it. I did a whole lot of cutting, drilling, and grinding when I did my A&A install.

Friend with heartbeat took this off, gained 500rwhp/550rwtq. He is happy for now with it off. He may try to mod it and put it back on later, but for now he is enjoying it as is and wants to go do some solid 200+ mile runs, then he will play with it more.

Here's mine after curing the belt slip.
Stock crank pulley. 81mm blower pulley.
Pfadt 1.875 headers. Stock NPP exhaust.
224/234 116+2 "OM" custom cam. Alky meth.
You'll notice how much different the two runs are due to the "horrible" heat soak of this particular p/d blower (they all have it.....). Actually this graph is of run #1 and #3. I'm guessing run #2 would have slotted between 1 and 3, if it would fit

Tell us more about this ATI 7.96" pulley? We've been having discussions on another thread about pulley options.

I belive it is an ATI 917107 shell assembley 8 rib either 6 or 8% overdrive .I have conflicting info as to what the % overdrive is. I got mine from summit but I would call ATI for the correct part number.

Too bad you're getting those huge swings in power from that "oven" you have there.
I guess that old home-spec'd cam is working out for you too, huh?
Sorry to sound like a stuck record, but just imagine what might happen if you throw that 8.2" balancer on that sucker now!

The 917107 is a 8" balancer shell. (7.96")
The 917108 is the 8.2" balancer shell.(8.235")
Both cost $350 from Summit. They have the 8" in stock but the 8.2" is on backorder.
I take it that you bought the shell and installed it on the hub of a standard diameter ATI balancer?

I think that the ATI 8.235" balancer might gain you a pound of boost or two as well. It should be easy to sell your IW 8".
Did you ever get the new setup sorted? What kind of TB do you have on it now?
