Default Supercharged Results (ECS Novi 1500)

Well I don't have the car back yet (will this weekend as I'm out of town). Itching to drive it badly.

Mustang Dyno: 574.2rwhp / 532.2rwtq. That's in Florida heat/humidity too. I'm sure it would be even higher if it were a Dyno jet or cooler weather.

EDIT: Just spoke to tuner: Says car dyno'ed abnormally high but he wasn't complaining. Typically with my setup with AFR of 11.2-11.3 and 12 degrees of timing usually see 545-550rwhp on his dyno. It's around 9psi intercooled. Mods as listed earlier are just PFADT headers from an engine stand point. Stock cam, no alki injection, etc. It's an LS3 and 6 speed manual.

Previously I did 428rwhp with just headers so seeing it's abnormally high again now on a totally different dyno makes me happy thinking this is a pretty stout car.

Anyways here's some of the photos I have already...

Matte black makes it look pretty stock'ish

Wow, that's coming along great! 575hp at the wheels? Holy smokes!

We will see how badly this thing does now on the 285s I have out back.

What's the largest diameter rim and tire that can go out back without going with a wide body kit?

Also, just spoke to tuner: Says car dyno'ed abnormally high but he wasn't complaining. Typically with my setup with AFR of 11.2-11.3 and 12 degrees of timing usually see 545-550rwhp on his dyno. I'll make a dedicated detailed thread of everything once I get the car and drive it for a few days but here's the first video I got of it from FSP. Don't hear too much exhaust...just lots of air.

Hahahaha, that dyno looks really familiar. Matt is the man.

I had the same exact set up when I dynoed (6 speed, ls3, pfadt headers with high flow cats). Dynoed on the worst day ever, it was like 101 degrees and 10000% percent humidity and made 567 hp on that dyno.

Nosferatu, dont fight it, get the methanol man. It's so worth it. I went back after a month and had FSP install the alky control system, dynoed at 620 hp if I remember, and that was another hot crappy day too. Waiting till jan or feb to get it dynoed again.

I had to gut my cats, not sure if your pfadts have the high flow cats, but you may want to look into that asap.

Sounds like a big vacuum leak. Bet you make more power if you find it.

Seriously, I have followed your other video's. Can't wait to see the latest.

there's no vacuum leak. That's the audio getting distorted from the car being so loud.

Here's some better footage now that I got my hands on the car.

Nothing to see hear folks just vacuum leak, exhaust leak and a few random misfires.. Wanna race?

Great working with everyone, ECS kits FTW!

Wow, that blower is loud! Once you get on it though, it's overcome by the exhaust. Nice work!

I run an 18x11 with a 315 drag radial on the back w/o a wide body (and it sits flush with the fender). IMO though, I would focus on the rubber compound & sidewall of the tire as opposed to the width. I know from an aesthetic standpoint that a wide tire looks great, but make no mistake....a 275/17 drag radial will outhook a 345/19 or 345/18 street tire ALL DAY. An 305/18 MT drag radial would be my choice in your application.

car is a daily driver so I need a tire I can drive in rain with as well...anyways, with that said I'm going to need the tire sooner than later.

This morning was the first morning in Florida it got a bit cool out. It was 59 degrees when I drove to work....

Intake air temps were 60-70 instead of my usual 100-110. Second gear at 50mph just incinerates the 285s I have out back. I had to hit it in 3rd gear and while it struggled she hooked and my oh my does it pull SOOOOOOO much harder. Felt like easy 40-50 more horsepower and torque in the seat of my pants.

Operation: Get new rims and fatter tires begins.
