Default Dashlogic FI accessories.....

As some of you may know, I am having an Eforce kit installed.

I also have had a Dashlogic for several months.

From researching the forum I see you can add wideband AFR and fuel pressure monitoring to the Dashlogic.

Sooo.....

Can you recommend a specific wideband AFR and fuel pressure monitoring system?

Thanks

I just got mine yesterday. Seems like you can't use your stock DIC info when the Dashlogic is plugged in?

You can use the stock DIC - just press the reset button on the right side of your cluster. When you do that, DashLogic will go away for a while so you can use it. I believe this is something they added recently, so make sure you are on the latest firmware.

Any 0-5V sensor can be added. I use the AEM but if I had a dashlogic I would just get something without a display and wire it in. Any wideband with a 0-5V works. Same with FP. Aeroforce, AEM, Autometer, etc all make pressure sensors. Get one that fits in the range you want (typically 0-100psi for fuel pressure) and wire it in.

Curious to see how you wire it in.

The 0-5V wire goes to the input on the dashlogic. 1 to analog input 1 and the other to analog input 2. What are you wanting to see?

Boost....I'm assuming the MAF sensor that comes with the Eforce provides that....Meaning no need to purchase a ZR1 sensor.

Fuel Pressure....Aeroforce Fuel Pressure sensor wired into Dashlogic AD1

AFR.....Bosch sensor wired from it's controller into Dashlogic AD2

Then a few alarms...

Probably will wait till I get the car home from supercharger installation and do it myself. Or ask the guys at MTI if they want to do it. Sensors don't get here till around Wednesday, so we'll see.

What values did you use to get the dashlogic to read the aem?

That's actually pretty cool because I am torn to go with the Wide Band Pillar Gauge or go with the DL. I was under the assumption that the DL is just a plug, I was not aware you could run wires to it.

Dash logic has 2 analog inputs.

I used the values out of the AEM manual. Copy and pasted out of the AEM manual
Analog Output
The analog output from the AEM Analog Wideband Air/Fuel Ratio gauge is a linear dc voltage signal that varies from 0.5 Vdc at 8.5:1 AFR to 4.5Vdc at 18.0:1 AFR over the operating range of the gauge. The signal is used for sending information to a data logger or an engine management system like the AEM EMS or F/IC. The transfer function for the output is listed below.
AFR = 2.375(V) + 7.3125

Make sure you dont do what I did with the Aeromotive FP sensor.
I wired it to a 12 v power source instead of a 5 v power source and it fried.

Get the 5v regulator from aeroforce when ordering the FP sensor.

I saw that but didn't how how to enter it in the configuration screen for the dashlogic so that they would jive. Didn't really mess with it too much so I'll go back out there tonight and check it out.
