TPIS Throttle. I was going to go with a N.W. tb but I've been told they cause the ECU to go into reduced power.

Nothing wrong with stock TB. I run it at ~1100rwhp. I believe sinssiTTer is running stock TB at 1600+rwhp.

Correct!! We used a ZR1 tranny this past April @T.I. which required 3 shifts from 2nd, 3rd and 4th. Took the stock tr6060 and got all the goodies in it with a ZR1 output shaft, so whatever that's worth!! We were planning to do solid roller to get more rpm and make those turbos scream but time has us against the fence so we will add a little laughing gas and see what she does!!

did you ever have any issues with the stock zr1 trans at your power level?

What are you planning to rev it too with the solid roller?

im torn in the whole trans swap. i have a z51 6060 .. 60mph is 5200 in 2nd and 3600 in 3rd.. right now im just lugging it in 3rd and only have to shift once... zr1 60 is 4200 ish in 2nd.. better power range but adds a shift...

No problems with the ZR1 trans except that the gearing is not favorable for T.I. However in the 1/4 it is well suited. With the Z06 trans it would just be from 3rd to 4th gear. We plan to spin this engine between 8000-8500 rpm with the solid roller when we get back and dial it in for the Quick 30 in November

none of the vette trans gearing is really perfect for Ti..

my z51 has the highest RPM in 3rd @60.. but the drop from 3-4 is HUGE for a centri car..and 2nd gear woudl be 5200 and "punch it shift"

zr1/z06 is better for a 2nd gear start... but then i have an extra shift

You still gotta grab 5th I'd think. Even on a 28" tire. If you wanna keep up with Feldman anyway.
