Brodix Br7 Heads

Brodix Br7 Heads
Is there any you guys running these cylinder heads I've been reading about them and they look good on paper just was wondering if I could get some feedback from some one who has used them.... Brodix and Wcch has a flow chart showing them flowing over 400cfm@ less than .700 lift. That should be enough air for a lot of HP. I called a shop n he recommended the Mast 305s says he never used the Brodix but on paper the Brodix out flows the Mast by almost 30 cfm@ same lift.

What does your build consist of? Lots of good cylinder head options out there. Brodix makes a really good product, but there may be more options as well.
What are your goals?

My goal is to make a reliable 1000 plus rwhp.I have a 427 Shortblock built for boost it's gonna be on pump n meth since it's still gonna be a DD now im looking for some cylinder heads that will get this done without breaking the BANK. Thought about selling my Shortblock and go back with a forged stock block but my builder is against it so I guess I'll stay with wat I have thus far.

Id check out the new TFS LS7 heads. They move good air, Have a thick deck and wont break the bank. if you want a step above that i would call Frankenstein racing heads and order a set of his RHS LS7 heads with his porting program in them.

I was considering the Trick Flow heads@ first until I talk to Richard n seen flow sheets ....do u think the tfs will out perform the Brodix they are very close n price but on paper the Brodix will move more air and what cylinder heads are you guys running in these 1000plus horse power builds.

When picking a cylinder head, flow isnt the end all. Port Shape, Cross Sectional Area, and Valve Size all play into effect. Honestly Both heads will be fairly comparable in power. I dont think either one is better or worse than the other. We use RHS ls7 heads on all of our big power builds. Chris Frank at Frankenstein Racing Heads has a really mean port program for them. If it was mine, id do the Brodix heads only because the TFS heads just came out. If they hadnt just been released, i would be all over those.

I'm about to complete a build with FRH ported Brodix 273s. They flow 411cfm at .650" lift and absolutely crushed the WCCH heads under that lift. On the same flow bench the WCCH IIs moved 373cfm as a point of reference. YMMV

No issues with my cheap PRC 285 heads making 1100rwhp.

Would have jumped on them in a heart beat if they offered Inconel Exhaust valves. Stainless may work for most, but I don't think it will hold up using the 2 step and the traction control that can pull a ton of timing and shoot the EGT's through the roof!

I have a question off topic....if you are willing to share....what type or where are u planning on mounting your turbos n is that system more maintenance than a SC APPLICATION?

Just saw this so I'm a little late. But it started out as an APS kit and upgraded the turbos to the Precision 67/66. And yes TT are more maintenance than a SC setup.
