Who else makes a rear spindle for a 15" wheel? (besides LG)
In their last group purchase for $899 (which I wish I'd jumped on), LG mentioned something about "Don't buy knockoffs"... so now I'm curious, who else makes an aftermarket spindle to fit a 15" wheel on a C6? I'd like to get a set closer to that $899 price....

We were the originators and discontinued it because we simply do not have enough hours in the day. So technically they are the "knock off"...
Farks Supercars make a full brake and lower control arm assembly that's very nice.

Apparently LG sells some G-Force stuff and they threaten to stop selling their product if they made them... I was part of the G-Force group buy that was gonna get them into production.... Then LG put out that group but so G-Force said forget it...

G force needed 10+ kits to get started, LG did a group buy and took the wind out of their sales.
The LG parts are extremely nice. I'm sure you can find a set if you look around. I was just talking to someone yesterday that got a set on the GB that may want to sell them.
I would wait for the next sale or group buy, or keep an eye out. Or just buy them. They are nice pieces.

I briefly thought about installing the spindles but after realizing that I have as good (or better) 60ft times than guys who do leave off a trans brake I didn't see the point.
The 60ft shown in my avatar was a 1.35 leaving at 1900RPM with 335/35/17 tires and my best with the 315/35/17 was 1.36.

when I asked LG about another group buy. They said there would never be another one.

Unless you're planning to launch off a trans brake or dump the clutch at 5000RPM (or higher), why not just go with the same setup I have which is 17x11 ZR1 rims and either 315/35/17 or 335/35/17 Hoosier drag radials?

I doubt there is any way that would work.

Yes 17s go right on. Better for track? Roll racing? What? The 335 hoosiers on a 17x11 hook well at the drag strip. I found for street use, the 18s are pretty dang good and the 15s aren't much better if any better at all at normal pressures.

Mainly for roll racing, i wonder how well ET IIs hook on the street at lower pressure?

They hook decent. None of the tires hook 1000+, but 25psi vs 25psi they are about the same. I didn't notice more traction until the 15s got to 18-19psi but then they get really wobbly on the street. So for a specific race that is fine, for rolling around all the time, not so much.
