I should be buying my holley efi next week it will be tested on a e85 high compression n/a z06.

They are good for boost as well as large cube big compression motors making power in the 7000+ range. For a sub 400ci motor redlining before 6800 or so I would stick to a factory style intake.

Uhh, don't backfire? A well tuned running car shouldn't be backfiring through the intake at all.

That's exactly what I have in mind Curtis. Let the engine breath so it can eat.

you didn't get my point we have trued a lot to spray with fast and oem intakes but we find it weak sure it's not will be as strong as the metal.

If you are blowing apart intakes from n2o backfires in them, you have other issues that need to be addressed first. Putting a metal intake on just to cover up an issues isn't a good solution.

actually we take an action by changing the gear ratio so that's would be helping by replacing the T56 to T6060 "ZR1" it may helps to spray with 5th. second reason not to go with the plastic intake from what I read that the metal may equal the a/f much better than the fast/LS7 intakes. cause those are equaling the last 2 pistons.

It will make a bigger difference for N/A cars imo.

Anyways this is what it looks like on a C6 with a cut hood.

I had it on my car and it looks bad *** but it lost a good amount of mid range power. Like 40whp 30-40 tq. I took it back off and putting the fast back on. We compared back to back numbers with only swapping intake. Motor was a 12.1 440ci rhs head spinning it to 7300. Even peaked the same hp at the end of the run.

I wouldn't spray a 200 shot on top of 28-30 psi. I would build a more efficient boost only combo to get the power you want.

I wouldn't try to make that much power in a vette anyways. Better chassis to make big power in IMO.

Not sure how good it is over the others, but friend makes 40+ psi in his 10.5 car with the Holley so it can hold the pressure. It's been some time, but when he had a 5.3 I don't think the holley picked up much et over the ls6, but I'd have to ask. That would be high rpm stuff also so pushing 8k. At this level getting down the track trumps a few hp here and there, but the car has ran 4.83@150 non intercooled on alky.

Maybe you had a bad tune or something went wrong because this guy gained 45whp and has a graph.

will I was thinking to go with TT first and more boost but I thud it's will be much better to stick with F1X and spray on it car will made power as I wanted and It will be a badass comp.
