I ran.. but realistically.. its very hard to make a vette keep up..

The fastest vette was the lethal TT z06 that went 184 and then blew out the HG and melted part of the head...
i went 173 mph and was the fastest Centri car out there.. the 2 lethal TT vettes out MPH'ed me but were plagued with issues.
IMO for a vette to be competitive.. it really has to be race cared out and make a ton of power.. its hard to put that much power down to a RWD platform even on 15s VS the AWD GTR and Lambo platform.

Totally agree with you and you car is damn fast as centri blower! (do you plan to run NOS with your f1x?)
Also how about dialing in some traction control techniques using proEFI for example, can that help?

I guess it is very difficult to keep up with those AWD but it is not impossible!
Maybe for vette, it needs to be perfect in all ways/conditions in order to keep up with those AWD monsters....

I believe LMR blue vette was running 190+

I hoped to see SINISTTER Twin turbo by Vengeance Racing what he can do here but he didn't participate in this

The LMR vette made about 600 rwhp more than i do.. was on pro radials with a glide and a ton of nitrous.. my traction was not a limiting factor

173.34.. but yup thats me Serg, Bryan and Sam @ AMP are TOP NOTCH!!..
I have your 2" headers.. originally wanted to go bigger but i think at the time thats all you guys said would fit.

My next step is a bigger FMIC.. im running an AMP modified FMIC from my original D1 kit. Sam is looking into either the new pro charger unit.. or a customer FMIC.

I know eventually i will spray it.. but since im the only centri car running boost only i would LOVE to get as close to 180mph @ Ti as possible before putting the bottle on.

Sam Will come up with a solution to squeeze some more out of my car. but for literally the first time driving the car in 9 months i think i did okay

AMP has a TT vette that should make it to the next Ti that should give the big boys a run for their money

IMO to really be competitive a vette making the power the Sinister vette is making and dead hooking will be needed.. the guys running the big brackets are running 215-225 ish in the 1/2 mile.
the GTR that won runs 190mph in the 1/4

I was a centri boost only too. Although quite a bit slower(163.8), and with a smaller blower(YSi). I think I can get to 168-170ish though leaning on it a bit more and not being on 91oct.

I too run ARH but just 1 7/8".

My downfall is weight.. with me in the car.. it weights in @3900 lbs ..

if i could get it down some.. it would go a LOT faster.. the c5 z0s have a good 600-800 lbs on me

The lighter the car the harder time you have hooking.

your car is almost 4000lbs? why is that?

I remember with my old setup (6 speed and A&A YSi),, no rollbar,,, my c6 weight was 3335 lbs...

with current setup with my just ARH arrived headers
I guess I'm on 3550+ lbs (bigger supercharger, brackets, 4l80e, rollbar, etc)
