Default Upgrading from D-1SC

Ok guys so would it be worth to upgrade to the F series? Would it be worth it or is the D-1SC good enough? My car is for street use primarily. Would it be easy enough to just switch out blowers or will I need to replace other things?

Way more info is needed. If all you want is ~800rwhp, the D1 will get you there. As far as other things, it all depends. Could be not much, or $30k+ in parts. Fuel system, motor, heads, rear, drivetrain, etc.

That D1 should put out more power than a stock motor can even handle. If you are forged, go big

I have the 30k in this car. Guess I should have provided more information sorry. My motor is currently being built my LME, forged pistons, chromoly pushrods, custom grin billet cam, iron block, ported polished. I am getting a twin disc clutch that will support around 1000whp. I have the D1SC blower, what else would I need to support that power and what blower should I go with? My motor and clutch will be able to handle it but am I looking at any suspension or transmission issues?

Fuel system, read end, tranny would be on the list. Especially if you put a sticky tire on it.

I'm making over 800whp on the d1sc. To me it's plenty enough for a street car. Glad with the build.

I haven't driven it yet so I am sure I will be sold with 800hp but I was just throwing around the idea of going a little more

I have a 4" pulley and stock balancer I believe....what does the flip drive and aftermarket harmonic balancer do?

I bought this car with a bunch of work done to it...to the best of my knowledge it has 60# injectors, boost a pump and has a upgraded fuel system and aem meth kit according to my mechanic....would I need to change out the 60# to handle 800hp?

Yes you need bigger injectors and if you're dwad set on 1000rwhp you need to step up to a F series blower.

What size injectors and where to buy from?

At least 80lbs, but might as well do 100s. Matt@FSP is a good source for injectors.

Going to need more than a BAP too, have to upgrade pumps. Fore makes a nice system.

At 800+, rear end and tranny are questionable. I would look at upgrading.

Yeah I am thinking now that I might want to wait to do that next year. What do you think of my supporting mods for around 7-800hp ?? Kinda stretched as is, do you think my current mods will suport that power?

Nope, BAP won't support that power, or not for long.

Thanks Unreal... Yes we can provide injectors (Injector Dynamics, Deatschwerks & Bosch), and the Fore Innovations fuel systems...

The F1A would be a great choice on stock cubic inch.. We have a F1A in a 366ci LS2 based shortblock, manual trans makes almost 900 to the tire at 20psi through some old LPE S1 heads/LS2 intake. We have another F1A at 15psi through a 347ci in a TH400 GTO that runs high 9's @ 140. It's a work horse on the stock stroke motors, love to test the new -94...

Thanks I have a ECS fuel system so I'll really only need new injectors.
