Default Reproduction wheels on 800rwhp+ cars?

Thinking about getting a reproduction wheel cup wheel in a 17 or 18" diameter. Send it off to weld craft and have it widened and then putting a MT or Hoosier drag radial as my track setup. Has anyone had issues with reproduction wheels or widened wheels at the track?

I have the OEwheelsLLC brand 17's on my car also and they balanced out fine but I've heard when widening they check runout and the wheel wideners will occasionally reject them.

OEWheels 17's here, and 18" repros up front. No issues up to 180ish.

lets start off topic can't remove my eyes from Bill signature would love to know who won that race?, now lets back to topic.

I have a rear set off House of wheels C6Z style 18x12 and running Toyo 888R that setup was fine with the 650 when I jumped to 750 the 19x12 was good with NT05R.

while my car is now under progress lets go to my friend car, an 1001whp RTS 17 with M/T car hooks good from 55mph

if you're gonna run it on track I'll suggest you go with 15" w Pro ET Street on rear.

-Mubarak.

It was "farm'ier" before with the mismatched wheels.

Had an exhaust leak pre-turbo which was causing some pretty awesome lag. Was still able to drive around 'em though.
