Default What Do You Think It'll Handle?

Hey guys, I'm thinking of upgrading my v2-si to a v7-ysi. I have my v2 close to maxed out. I'm seeing 11.1psi with my setup. Before upping the boost, i wanted to see what you guys thought of my motor and how much power you think it can handle. I'd like to maybe bring it up to 15psi. I'm on e85 as well. Would 800rwhp be asking too much of the block? Builder it could handle 900 but I'm curious to see what others think. Im currently working on making the fuel system a return style and im looking to upgrade to 1 7/8 headers from my 1 3/4 ones. Thanks.

Currently making 685rwhp and 590rwtq

Stock LS3 intake on stock LS3 heads with ported exhaust
Stock LS3 block and crank (stock displacement, 10.0cr)
Wiseco forged pistons
Scat forged I beam rods
All 2000 ARP hardware in the block and rods
ARP 2000 head bolts (thinking of upgrading to studs)

Could probably max the blower out. I've seen 416ci ls3 do 1100rwhp.

What is the bore? I guess it just depends on what they took the bore size up to, but as long as they didn't go crazy, you can do a 1000 all day easy on a stock ls3 block with good pistons/rods. Hell local guy has been doing 1300rwhp on piston/rod ls3 motor for a long time.

It can do it but I wouldn't use scat parts though.

Thanks for the advice and opinions guys. For now I might push this motor a bit more. See what it'll give me with a ysi. I'd like to at least hit the 800rwhp mark.

Why you say that Detoxx? I've seen a few guys over 800rwhp with the Scat I beams. They were recommended by my builder for their light weight and strength. Seems like a good rod for the money.
