Just Won Import Vs. Domestic at MIR - Video inside!
34 cars entered 32 made the field... we were qualified 2nd and ended up winning the whole thing!
Super excited to win this race, we were close the last 2 years but couldn't pull it off.
Here is a video of the finals for your viewing pleasure.

Good job guys. Is there a good location that shows the rule differences between the imports and domestic cars that compete in the same class(weights, etc.)?

You can find the rules by searching import vs domestic MIR. The imports were allowed to use 33.5 slicks and weigh 2400lbs ... I had to weigh 3000, but actually weighed 3440...
We had the leave turned way down since the track was prepped for the slick tires... The radials wouldn't 60' like the slicks did on that track.

Thanks for the insight Mark. Now even though I grew up in the 90's with DSM's (Mitsubishi) It always gets me watching cars that are almost full weight vs a tin can. Don't get me wrong I like all engines, but it's when the idiots of either side start jabbering about nonsense it gets under my skin (well that and FWD drag racing )
