Sucks man...My kid hit a 300lb pig crossing the road a few miles away, totaled the car out..so I guess it could be worse. Not sure but there's some fur stuck in your fender joint

lol, it's like $25 for a new light and an hour with a buffer and it'll be fine. Not even worth turning in to insurance.
But who knows who will part it out. The next boyfriend I suppose

Anybody ever heard of Vararam long tubes? W/cats, $895 intro "special". Says Z06 only but since I have Z06 axle back I'm wonder if it'd still work. I like that they don't use slip fit connections.. looks decent
If only I could get their pile of crap website to work
https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...8-c6-only.html
Might order a set unless there's a reason not to?

I also like that they've ported the flanges and, from looking at the photos they have in their website, it looks like the primaries are fully welded around their perimeter to the flange, which is what is lacking on some of the cheaper headers.
All in all, it looks like a good deal.
The biggest unanswered question is fitment, which would be a biggie for me (but would probably only be a small challenge for a schpenxel).
I say call them up and get them to guarantee that it will fit your car and go from there? And oh, ask them what quality steel they're using too. I can't remember seeing that anywhere.

Man, I really hope this is Schpenxel who's actually posting on here.
Wouldn't want to be indicted as an accessory after the fact for helping the gf keeping his demise under wraps.

Just strange how it is 06-07 z06 only and 08 base. No reason headers should be that specific.

Took a look at their thread and their website. Looks like a direct ARH knockoff, which means they should flow good and with the ball and socket flanges, it shouldn't leak. They also say that it's the same gauge material as used in the leading headers. The reverse cone collector and internal "power spike" are also great features. Looks like they've done some work on the flow bench as well, which is also good.

I'm not sold...someone ask a tricky tuning question...
Deer my a$$
Actually, I have a DL question; installing a P399 Johnson fuel pressure transmitter and harness, do I just supply 12v power and ground, and it sends back a 0-5v reading?

Have to send it 5V, not 12
Ground is grounded obviously
And it'll have a 0-5V output that goes to input on dash logic
The MAP and I think the coils also run off of 5V so you can pull power from one of those

My FP sensor was tapped into the 5V to the map sensor.
Ditched FP and took the wire out. IMO was not a useful gauge.

Ball flanges would be nice. Slip fit are a pain and to do it "right" is another roughly 100 dollars for the band clamps (couldn't keep the ones provided with the tsp headers from slipping/leaking).

Yeah I'm liking the ball flanges vs. slip fit that most use. May pick up a set--trying to get a little more info on them but doesn't look like there is much out there

Just play Russian roulette with it and keep an eye in the WB02? I've been debating a gauge, but itd end up daisychained with the plx.
