Started it this morning, 15* ambient and had E85 in the tank. Took a few tries for it to stay running but wasn't too bad surprisingly.
Coolant temp, intake air temp, oil pressure, oil temp. Brr.

Maybe you should just get Dude_man to do you a set of headers with a hood exit?
How's the weather today?

I dunno.. at this rate he might take a few months
Weather is getting better.. supposed to be close to 70* by Friday. We have the craziest weather here during the winter. Most of the snow is melted now, schools should open back up tomorrow finally

Don't want to start my own thread just for little stuff.
Put the gates RPM belt on. Went on in <4 minutes. Love the super easy belt swaps on ECS kits.
Zero issues with the old cheap $23 belt but a great forum member offered to send me a gates RPM so I took him up on that. I'll see how it works.
Also did the muffler clamp mod. Got tired of mufflers banging around in the back on corners/etc. So you take worm clamps and tighten up the rubber mounts in the back. Now mufflers are nice and secure.
Friends Ysi combo made 1050/980 or something like that yesterday. Super basic combo. Ysi, ls9 block, ls3 intake, ported ls9 heads, fuel system. Nothing fancy, nothing special. No LSX, no big cam, no special intake, just a basic combo making great power.

No meth. Flex fuel but ran out of injector. He was limited by that, so will go back with that fixed and make more power.
And yes, ecs bracket, ecs intercooler.

The 3/8 square hole is just about stripped and it's creaking pretty bad when it moves
And I need something to work on
I don't envy that! 24*F here tonight.. supposed to be nice this weekend though!

Burning Brakes
Surprised to hear that. When I saw that idler on my kit I was like "Holy Crap, this thing will last forever". As for the lower idler hanging off the timing cover..... not so much and pray I'll never ever have to mess with that one.
EDIT: Hey, what's that LED on the steering wheel trim by the dash logic display? Alky RED/GREEN led coming off the BRN/BLK wires on the controller?
