Default Pushrod Recommendations?

Im finally getting close to finishing my build and am wondering what pushrods people are running. Motor is an Erl shortblock with Prc285s and a Ysi. Erl recommended Smith Brothers, just wondering what else people have used on their high hp builds?

Trend makes them for a lot of people. There are really only a few manufacturers. I believe even comps are made by trend.

I spoke with Smith Brothers today and they asked me what my open valve spring pressure was. I'm not all that tech savvy but is it that critical to measure my spring pressure if I know what length and thickness I need?

I may be wrong but yes, its important as you higher the spring pressure the lets them know if the push rod will have any deflection, if they believe there will be deflection they will get you a thicker push rod.
