I'd still look into heads. Last thing you want to do is buy the supercharger kit and find out your valves are out of wack. I say do heads, clutch, and other supporting mods before going big. If your chasing a number your probably going to want to do a cam as well. That's my .02

I sent the heads out Friday for the works. Not chasing a number. Looking more for reliability and stock drive ability. I'm looking into cams but want something that works good for a daily.

Why not go turbo? I personally like a little lag bc traction is already such an issue adding all that tq down low really complicates launching

Past cars:
91 LX fox, built with a Vortech T-trim. Car was a blast.
03 Cobra silver with a Whipple at 17#. Car was a blast, no issues.
03 Cobra DSG With a Whipple at 22# Car was a blast and no issue. Sold at 8,800 miles
97 Cobra, fully built motor, trans, rear and fuel system. 78MM single turbo. Car was/is crazy fast but not even as fun or east to drive as the other 3.

Turbo cars are fast and you must have an auto if you want it to be a street car. With the Whipple cobras I would put car lengths on my turbo friends before they would get spooled up. Any all the piping and heat and BS that go's along with it. I will take a blower any day.

This is the 97 turbo after I sold it. Low boost break in tune.
No fun on the street.

I have a 99 z28 that's an m6 with a 76mm. Lol I d never give up my third pedal. I m thinking about doing the whole blower thing with my vette since AFFORDABLE turbo kits are scarce and I don't feel like building one. Blowers do deliver power smooth but theirs nothing like rolling into boost with a turbo...

Turbo kits seem to look great but cost effective ones for C6's are well, basically UPP's. The on the fly adjustability of a turbo system is obviously a huge plus for it.

Heads are being done as I type. Esc will be here tomorrow thanks to Matt. Now talking with Matt on cam selection and headers. I'm just flat out of money now. Haha. We will see what I casn come up with.
Not sure if cam and exhaust will be worth it.
