Save yourself the money and go with a Holley EFI HI Ram manifold. I also haven't seen that manifold before.

Any money you save with the Holley is gone when you have to get a new hood and painted. The sheetmetal fits under a stock hood.

So true, the thing is that there are few sheet metal intakes out there and they r so expensive.
I liked the price and design of this intake but I wanted to see if someone tried it

If your going to spend that much on an intake you might as well get one from John Marcella.

I'm cutting mine but I guess it's personal preference. Hopefully someone comes out with an affordable low profile LS7 cast version that can fit under the hood.

Not sure if this will fit, but it sure is a lot less expensive than the comparable ones I've seen in the past, by a mile.

I got a hold of a marcella to use on my car.

But the off the shelf halltech doesn't fit. Need to get a different coupler.

It's got at least 20 degrees more on both sides of the cam than what most people talking about running.

Plus alot of compression

I saw a couple of surprisingly inexpensive sheet metal intakes at SEMA, but haven't seen or heard any experience with them.

That's what I posted from flea bay. They were 2800 or more for anything remotely comparable and now all of the sudden they're 550!

These cheap ones probably made in china. I can tell you that the finishing inside was not impressive on the ones I actually saw at SEMA. The photos of the one you posted look better.

I believe the rails were bolted on and boxed in the USA.
