Whatever kit you go with be sure to add meth and you'll be flying. I did it after the fact later on and wish I did it initially. Want more convincing evidence? Traps over 135 in the 1/4mi and occasionally will spin in 3rd (at 90 is said video). This is with passenger in the car as added weight...yee haw.

If you do get it down or even if you don'tyou should plan a trip to ct, we get together every weekend come spring... Got a group with supercharged, turbo'd,cam corvettes along with a bunch of other modified/stock cars. This year should be a fun one.

I got a A+A kit on my 05' V2-Si-Trim. I installed the kit my self. 8000 miles no belt slip, no belt replacement. I made 573 rwhp 495 rwtq with meth and full exhaust. This was a very conservative tune, on a mustang dyno. The kit has been flawless. No overheating with the car, or S/C. Car drives completely stock until you hit it. The customer service is outstanding. My wife ordered the kit on the phone with Andy for x-mas. He was very patient with her and made everything go smoothly.

On a side note,, A buddy of mine has heat issues in stop n go traffic, is a Dewitts or similar radiator a good idea?
I have been saving dough for a SC purchase, still in saving mode , but it will happen, and I want to do it in one hit, not build on it for months or years

Dash logic is one of the best things I've bought for the car. Very useful gadget.

I had to chime in after reading everything on here and while I'll agree that the ECS kit is nice in that you can change the belt easier and comes with a larger blower (that's an easy upgrade). I cannot stand their intercooler design when compared to my A&A. I have an A&A kit and have never had troubles with my cooling system or AC. Meanwhile I have been struggling along with a friend's car to try to move the ECS intercooler to try to bring down IAT's while also bringing down coolant temps and getting more airflow over the AC condenser. Both have their upsides but personally, I'd rather deal with a little more headache to change a belt every few years and enjoy my AC than fighting to keep IAT's down.

I went with the ECS kit for the ease of belt changes and the fact that the entry level ECS system(Novi 1500) will have more power than the entry level A&A Vortech unit. I do like the fact that the A&A kit has an awesome intercooler and that keeps the AIT's down though. Not bashing A&A kits, I just preferred the ECS kit. I rectified that problem with getting an Alky Meth kit. Besides, here in NH, it almost never gets over 100'. The hottest it gets in the heat of summer is the 90's. My coolant temps is always 185ish even when it's in the mid 90's. Anyways, the S/C and Meth kit go in Monday 8/10. Then it's off to the tuner/dyno. I'll throw up some numbers when it's done. What do you think i will be pushing for RWHP and TQ?
