For makes good shiz. I only wish they sold a complete sysetm with rails. And I don't particularly care for their regulator positioning in the fender.

My fore regulator is in the engine bay.

I'm not saying it can't go there. But the fuel "system" Fore sells still requires some additional fittings (and rails) to fit. The "out of the box" Fore system's I've seen installed place the reg in the fender.

I'm running RSI lines/rails/aeromotive reg and just the fore hat. Works good for me.

Then again I don't do e85, just that silly 91 octane junk.

Yes but what do they flow at 80-100 psi of fuel pressure? The magnaflow is sure to drop off at higher pressures, which no one ever seems to consider or talk about on here.

Most run 43psi base and 30psi max

I can't speak for the C6 world but I would not say very many people run that low of fuel pressure. If you do that in a C5 you will have problems with your transfer pump.

58.5 base and 10-20 psi encompasses a lot more FI Corvettes and at that pressure the Magnafuel pump is going to drop flow drastically.

Bosch 044 is still high pressure king

Most people running 20+psi are running return systems, and at that point the transfer pump works as long as the block offs are in place. So 43-45psi is very common on high HP builds.

The problem is that limits your injectors choices basically to CNG injectors (ID2000) or the new 1650 cc injectors, but I heard those can't go over 75 psi (which I guess wouldn't be an issue for you guys)

Radium makes a nice surgetank setup for dual pumps.

On my C5 we ran twin walbro 400s with a custom hat, Brass Y fitting, and wiring (basically just a 70A relay, wired outside of the tank - bulkhead fitting on the hat of course) - and ran big injectors and had no issues at all.

I think a lot of people/shops make the fuel system super complicated. I did enough fuel to supply about 1200whp for $400 (plus cost of injectors of course) - You don't NEED to spend tons of money.

Yeah - which is appalling.
Considering all I needed to do on my hat was drill it out a bit for the bulkhead fitting and wiring, took a whole 15 mins after the hat was out.

I made 1100 on two Walbro 255's Y'ed together in the stock bucket with a hotwire harness. Only problem is with the in tank regulator pressure was ~55# under load. With 25# of boost the injectors are running at 30# of effective fuel pressure. So to use an external regulator you basically need to build a real fuel system.

Then post some pics!

I think all the concerns about the siphon system are what stop people from trying stuff like that on their own (and pulling the tanks sucks, so there's that too)

I'll try and find some then.

And this was on an 02 C5 - which had the side-mount pump hat - not top mount like 04+ so it was easier as we didn't need to pull the tank (just pop the fender liner and it's right there, the opening for the hat/pump is awfully small tho - not sure if newer ones are the same.

However once the tank is pulled it's the same on any other car.

I pulled the tanks on jack stands last time. Mostly on my back it was real annoying. I'm debating on just getting a fuel cell with gm sending unit and using an external pump. So much easier.

Your correct!! I run that setup and there is no way it will support 1000 horsepower.

Yeah I've only ever pulled the passenger side.. and it was a real pain. The lines inside the big metal tube were stuck. When I would pull the tube out the inner smaller lines would go with it (and not disconnect..) so yeah, that sucked.
