Custom cam, and all the Bolt-ons
Shooting for 750-800 or so.
I'm looking into the flip drive to have no belt slip...
but I want to know about the a/c performance with the flip drive?!?!?! I'm in texas and that COUNTS!!!!!

You do not need to worry about the AC not working, you need to worry about the accessories not working at WOT. Which is why we cog the accessory drive of the flip drive.
We have several ready to go if you are interested in the "end all fix" for a direct drive system.

Buy the cogged one from Doug. If not you will just be pulling it off and buying it later.

Upgrading an existing flip drive is $500, you need to send in your jack shaft and balancer. This includes everything needed such as belts etc.
Add $789 if you do not have a Flip Drive already, and add $550-$575 for a balancer depending on 8 or 10 rib.
Here are a couple of pics of it.

Forgive my ignorance
What's the purpose of adding a cog drive on the accessories?

I don't know for sure yet, but the billet tech I just put on never goes below 14.20 volts on the dyno. I think it should cure the dropping voltage issue. It puts out 140 amps at 800 rpm... so even if the belt slips some, the voltage should remain at a good level.

Because the belt for the accessories slips at high rpm and the voltage from the alternator can go down and cause fuel issues.

Not only that, accessory belt coming out of adjustment, whining, excessive slip on start up, slip when turning (PS pump stress cause voltage to drop), slip when AC is cranked. The standard 4 rib flip drive can't support reliably the PS/Alternator/AC on one tiny 4 rib belt. I was swapping belts and adjusting every 2-3k miles. The would work ok at first, then make noise, then slip. Cogging it got rid of all those issues. I know 2 other locals with flip drives, and they still battle belt issues.

Any negatives from cogging?
