I couldn't imagine spooling even faster. My 3 in pipe lights off so fast. Can't wait to see the results on this bad bitch.

Correct, brand new LS3. Im hoping to get full boost around 3500rpms. The manifolds are going to be coated and wrapped, the rear is going to get the VHT ceramic spray paint and double wrapped all the way to the turbo, so we will see.

Is the exhaust going to be dumped or will you make an exhaust like tip to finish it off? I'm sure the turbos respond better to as little backpressure as possible, but I like the finished look of tips.

He is going to be finishing that up with a dual tip exhaust.

frame is fine I had to notch it and weld it back with 6061. Exhaust will be dumped through the fender up top. It helps that Z06 front fenders are wider and have a bit more clearance. The only real cutting was with the inner fender to allow that massiveness in there. Im also running it twinscroll with 2 Tial MVR 44mm's. I should have a build thread up in a couple of days.

Working on it as we speak. I decided to change the wastegate location slightly and fix a few small things. I'll have more pictures by the end of the weekend

I made a bracket for the pump which will be powder coated crinkle black along with the compressor cover, and the visible intercooler piping. I changed the wastegate location. The dump will be changed.

Decided to go under the subframe with the ic piping instead of through it. Ovaled it with the lift and a 4x4 haha. Ran out of material to mount the intercooler :/

Sweetness! Can't wait to see some results, I've been looking at doing something very similiar but with an S475, I'll be very interested in how well the 480 spools. A quick question, do you think there would be any way to finagle in a muffler in the rear with the turbo mounted all the way to one side? I like my cars quiet so really would love to stick a muffler in there to keep it quiet as possible.

What motor do you have and what's your end goals with the car? You can run a resonator. I'm sure you can run a small muffler

It's a stock Ls3, I can't decide if I wanna go ahead and do cam first though,
End result would be 650whp ish, really just would like a very fast spooling setup, I've had turbo cars in the past and played with different turbo sizes, and a smaller fast spooling turbo is way more fun on the street than a laggier big turbo. Never messed with a rear mount setup before and there is limited info on 6spd cars with rear setups that I could find. Your's will be the closest setup to the one I'm going with even as far as I was going to go with the spinmonster cam if I did cam first.
