Thursday looks like it'll be rain free, and maybe Friday am... trying to decide if that's worth it to just do a few roll race passes and probably no street action. Maybe even head back Saturday in the rain.

I picked up a airraid race day filter... debating running it this weekend.

Here's the airraid filter, smaller but seems much less restrictive

The Dallas Performance filter has more surface area, but is more restrictive

Anybody have any thoughts?

I had fuel pressure dropping issues on my triple pump setup and dual pump setup. I now run a z06 pump and an a1000 external on a hobs. I came to the conclusion that the fuel was boiling, no idea. I hate the fuel system in these cars. I'm about ready to just build a fuel cell. At least I'm not the only one with problems.

I don't drop pressure with all 4 pumps on (when I'd expect to if fuel heat was an issue). I can recreate the issue on a cold, non-running car my putting 12v to the pump(s). I had a z06 pump before with the same issue, then a 450, then the fore setup. It's gotta be a leak in the plastic housing/oring of the siphon module. I've seen people have issues where the pump module came apart (hence why I bought the fore to remove that possibility).

Why not run a turbo guard if you are changing just for race day. I don't think can get less restriction than that and still have some protection from flying birds.

That's basically what this is with more surface area. Those turbo guards are surprisingly restrictive

Had a successful trip down to TX2K15. The car ran great other than needing the clutch fluid bled, which caused a 4th gear lock out on one pass.

Out of 135 registered cars for the TX2K Roll Race event, the fastest 48 in qualifying get placed in 1 of 3 brackets of 16 (Unlimited, Super Sport, Sport). I made the cut in the Sport bracket. Here was the competition - http://tx2k.com/forums/showthread.php?t=86

I raced the Forged Performance GTR in the first round of eliminations and they (and my missed shift) took me out

I'll have some video up in a bit

Looks like a great time. Too bad about the issue but that's part of the game I guess. Nice job and video's.

Peter actually messed up the bracket and instead of adding me as the 16th seed and bumping that guy to fix it he just gave me Bill's spot (and mph) since he dropped out. I qualified with a 156.68mph pass, so I was going to have my hands full in that class

Lol, I dunno. I saw him at the hotel when I asked about his power level and I think he said he was doing ~140ish mph.
