Default Build V2.5

Those other build threads were pretty long, so I figured why not consider this a new build v2.5

I decided to overhaul quite a bit of my setup...

- swap the F1A-94 for a new F1X
- replace my single walbro 450/stock bucket with a Fore triple pump (Walbro 450 + two AEM 320e) + keep my external magnafuel 4303
- redo my fuel lines with a -10 feed split to a -06 for each rail and rail mount my regulator with a -08 return
- replace my stock radiator with a RSD cut down radiator
- beadlock my 15" Weld RT-S and try the new MT ET Street R tire
- custom oil cooler with SS PTFE line
- replace both rear hubs since the wheel studs were getting worn out and prone to stripping

Fuel system should fix this:

Should give some clearance for the F1X

Left the cooler off last year to help the car warm up as it got colder in fall, now its time to get it installed

I know that X will make some steam. Where are you planning on mounting the oil cooler.

Seriously, nice dyno chart before. Looking forward to seeing the after....

You sure 4 fuel pumps gonna be enough......I shouldn't talk as I am running 3 with probably as much capacity...LOL..

As for the oil cooler.... I just did exactly what you are talking about. As far as install, it turned out great. I don't have any results as its winter here and I cant drive the car.

Can you give a few details of the engine build. Is the car a stick or auto ?

I am comparing your dyno to my YSI sheet. The HP is almost identical but your torque is higher across the board. I am interested to see the differences.

Actually.. scratch that.. Was looking at wrong numbers.. Torque is almost identical also... crazy.

Lol, yea, probably a little overkill on the fuel system, but that Fore stuff looks the best and only comes as a triple now

Do you get any oil smell? I love Aeroquip startlite, but wasn't sure on using it on a 250*F+ application

I couldn't really tell you because all I have done with the car so far is the dyno. I wouldn't expect any smell. It is made for that purpose as far as I know.

Thanks... mine is an auto but its amazing that the dyno sheets are almost identical. Lets see what the new blower is going to do for you.

Cool I'm probably gonna have to do that when I go to the bigger intercooler since the Z06 oil cooler I'm using won't fit anymore.

What size are those heads? Your original dyno pulls really high with them and the Jam Cam. Similar to my 346 with PRC 237 6 bolt heads, just 200hp lower than yours.

Looks good Jeff. You'll like that cooler it works real well on mine. And you know mines mounted real simularly. The fuel system will be leaps and bounds ahead of what you had! Just LMK when you recieve it so I can delete all the shipping notifications in my email lol! That set up should make some good power bro! We're going to have to run again lol!

They're just stock gm lsa casting with the 'wing' removed on the intake side and some light hand porting. The stage 2 ccp cam/f1a didn't carry as far as this jam cam/f1a-94, so it may be more cam/blower than heads

Interesting, since my car doesn't make the power yours does. Your blower has a little more get than my 2500, and doesn't pull as strong as your old setup from what I've seen. My car now has a 370 CI, so I'll be interested to see where it's at.

How confident are you on the X with the 4 bolt?

Lol, I'm traveling for work so I'll let you know soon as I'm back. Thanks for pushing me over the edge and getting me setup with the Fore stuff.

I think you'd take me either way, but due to difficulty getting a 4.50" 10-rib in time I'll probably be on the F1a-94 at tx2k. I'll just chase you guys in my slow 1,050whp car

90% sure the X will go on after tx2k. It'll be setup to hit max rpm (72,000) at 7,500rpm. Depending on boost, power and street results I will pick a shift point somewhere between 6600-7100

A motor built by my engine builder with eBay studs and 4 bolt block just made 1309whp through a TH400 and 9", so I'm hoping I can keep my heads down around 26-27psi
