Not going to lie, all these high HP F-1X vettes, has gotten the discussion going about a new blower. However its a "big" discussion, because we already know we are at the limits that gearbox can take.

So its not going to happen over night.
But here at ProCharger we want to make a blower for everyone.

So again, thanks to you all and this C6 F/I section.

You know where i stand on this All the BIG power guys are going single or Twin turbo... im Hard headed.. i want to stay Centri and try swim against the current

I also want to stay 10 rib

So all i need is a blower that will be okay with a 10 rib.. and make 400 rwhp more than the f1x

You realize that not to long ago, full blow race car like.....

Pro 5.0, Street Outlaw, NMRA, NMCA stuff was 2000-2,200HP
And those dudes ran huge cog drives and what not.

Its literally crazy to think what street cars are doing these days with 10 rib belts. HA HA. You all are the innovators.

But really, the issue we are now up against is the load on that transmission of the blower. Those gears/bearings can only take so much. But like I said, we haven't stopped innovating for 20 years, so we are not stopping now.

Stuff is in the works, but I have no idea how it will all pan out.
But now that the masssssssssive undertaking that the i-1 blower was is over, the focus has shifted to more "conventional" blowers.

This years crazy hot seller for the racing season has been the F-1X-12RD (RaceDrive™) Literally can NOT get gears fast enough to service those orders. Since its the best of both worlds, the bullet-proof F-1X-12 and a gear drive all in one. So for race guys, its a slam dunk.

Threads like this and lightnings are just another reason why I switched to an f1x. So much potential!

Hopefully the F1-R gets some love. There is too big of a gap between the R and the X.

You won't find much love here for the R anymore.

The R is a good, reliable unit, spools quick and makes a ton of midrange... It does peter out pretty quick and takes a ton of power to spin it.. It's an OLD blower, old technology and not the most efficient.

It's a great street blower for 1k hp or less..

The F1X is where it's at!

I'll likely be switching to the X later this year myself.. 4 bolt block concerns me tho..

I think too many people are getting way too caught up in the HP wars. The only point of having a supercharged car with this much power is because Will has spent a lot of money and has one of the best tuners in the nation tuning it for hours with their traction control. Chris is a genius on putting the power down, but it doesn't mean it's for everybody. William(Pumpking) and I text on a regular basis. There have been issues with the car getting where it's at that aren't public.
I'll just say that D3, Chris Delgado and Will are at the top of the SC Vette gang right now, but don't be upset with a 700-900hp car. Go run 9's, beat the majority of cars on the street and have 1/5 the issues.

I'd say you're doing pretty well for not being too far behind the top of the SC vette gang with your C team street car!
