I'm wanting to get this car in the 10s. I bought it last fall and ran it a few times. My slip is as follows. I was on the right.
My mods are A&A V3Si at 8 lbs of boost, kooks longtube headers, kooks high flow cats, Corsa sport exhaust, A&A stage 3 cam 228/236, and tuned on the dyno. It made 586 on a dyno dynamics and close to 620 on a dynojet. The few trips down the 1320 have been on factory tires in 70-80 degree weather.
I want to add more boost but I am already at 90% injector duty cycle. I am looking at running hoosiers at the next track outing. One of our local shops that has some wicked corvettes will be doing a tq converter as soon as I can swing it. I want to run 10s this season.
How much more boost can I get away with to trap in the 130s?

I thought so too.
I hate to bench race but my younger brother's C6Z has an A&A with headers as well and he dynoed 620ish and traps 133 on stock 19x12 wheels with 345 Nitto NT05R. One of my passes was with him next to me and I caught him sleeping, plus my 60' was a little better and he blew by me by the 1/8.

I agree with the previous posts. There's something wrong since I trapped 123-124 when my car was cam and exhaust only in non stellar weather plus bogging off the line. Now that I'm supercharged I would expect no less than 128-129 through the traps in bad weather and about 132+ in good weather.
Do you live in a high altitude area?

I've been told that the tune is real conservative so I may just get it tuned by the shop that will be doing the future mods anyways. I would like to get the best out of this setup before I throw more mods at it though.
Here's the temps ad DA from the day I ran it. The runs were between noon and 3 o'clock

Hmmm.... I ran similar times in my old '08 LS3/MZ6 car when it was just a cam/header/intake setup. Ran a handful of 11.6x passes at 123-124 at the one private rental I ran at. I was on drag radials but it was being babied out of the hole as I really wanted to be able to drive the 2 1/2 hours back home.
The slip I easily found right now shows:
60': 1.82
1/8: 7.611 @ 96.78
1/4: 11.635 @ 123.15
Looking at dragtimes data, it was around 1000 ft. DA for this pass. So that's an advantage, but for a cam/blower car, that MPH just seems low. My car was making less than 460 rwhp at this time.

With just an SI blower, no headers, stock cam on my LS3 I was running mid 10's at 135-136. Probably could have gone 10.3 if I had seat time but the track officials gave me 1 run and done and finally wouldn't let me run. That's with a stick and 600hp. Something's not right.

Where do you guys think the problem is? I had it data logged on the dyno but I didn't get no negative feedback from the owner of the shop. Maybe it's in the tranny tune? Or lack there of........

I think it's the tune/tranny. At 560-570hp on skinny 19 inch runcraps, I made one pass just because I was at the track and my friends were egging me on. I bought the car 2 weeks prior and picked it up that Friday from the shop with a blower. Went strait to the track to watch friends. I babied the car out to keep it from going in to the wall. It still trapped like 128-130 not getting in to full boost till 3rd gear, since it was brand new to me. So I'll say it's all in the tune.

Does the engine runs fine? I would check all the clamps, change the spark plugs, check the spark plug cables, vacuum hoses, clean the maf, etc. I think you get what I'm saying. Sometimes little details like this will eat you alive. Also do you have a way to monitor boost and fuel pressure?
