How to keep the engine safe with 750 power?

Contact Matt at FSP or Doug at ECS and they can explain it! Bottom line is these guys have had a lot of success at this power level. That is why they worked on my car.

tWhen I picked these up I thought I got the wrong ones! They are huge! Looking at your pic I realize the stock tires are pretty large as well. Looks like no problem stuffing them into the wheel wells when the time comes!

I've never installed a cam in one of these.. but I have seen a few people over the years have problems with the cam bolts backing out. Is there any kind of locking plate that could be used? Or just loctite?

I personally used ARP bolts with blue loctite. I also used a double roller timing chain with an LS2 chain damper. I just dont trust a single roller at 7k rpms and neither the LS3 self adjusting timing chain mechanism.

You can find the threads about the the plastic parts of the mechanism breaking and falling into the oil pan.

Gotcha.. yeah not sure I'd want a single roller at 7K either!

Comp makes a locking plate. I always use one. 10 bucks for security.

My cam backed out on my LS3. It wasn't pretty. That's cheap insurance for sure.
