Default UPP TT kit tire rub.

I have installed this thing multiple and tried to adjust it. According to the manufacturer I'm an idiot. I installed some stock C6 Z06 wheels which are a 18X8.5 with 275/35/18 on them. They rub on downpipe at full lock. I will be buying a Weld S77B 17X8 to match my 15's. Do you think they will clear the pipe with a 235 or 245/35/17?

Im a C5, but I run wheel spacers on my CCW setup to keep from rubbing my charge pipes at full lock turning.

I have the upgraded 3 inch pipes and they are pissing me off. I might have to run a spacer but we will see. What size CCW? Width as well? I'm trying a 17X8. What tire you running?

I'm considering getting a UPP kit in the near future for my 2010 base. I've heard of a few people with both C5's and C6's mentioning this tire rubbing issue. Is that a pretty common problem with this kit, and do most people who run it go to 17" wheels or use spacers? I currently have 18's in the front

Other than the rubbing issue, how do you like the kit? What kind of power are you putting out, and how was the install (if you did it yourself)?

I'll text you pics of my setup and see if I can help you figure out what's wrong. Don't get to discouraged with the setup. It is a nice kit and makes great power. I'll help you all I can.
