injectors with e85
I have a zo6 with a d1 procharger, blower cam, and all the necessary stuff to go with the valves etc. I'm wanting to switch to e85 and do a flex fuel tune. What size injectors do you think I'll need. I've heard 850's and 1300. Confused on what to get. Anyone have any guidance for me?

I run Deatschwerks 96lb (@43.5psi) LS3 injectors in my car on E85 with awesome results. Their pricing and customer service are also great. They provide all the GM data for tuning as well. Not sure on my exact power but my car traps 155+mph so around 1000ish at the crank!

ID1000s would be enough to max out the D1 on e85.

My tuner really likes working with Injector Dynamics. I'm going after more of a safety net then high horsepower. Lets be honest, the extra hp will help but it is not needed. i'm already at 612 on 91 oct with a blower cam and supporting mods.

Injector Dynamics has a thing on their website to show you how much HP their different products will support
ID1000's are plenty for most

almost Everyone I know with a boosted e85 car has maxed out the first set of injectors they bought.
90lb injectors are already in the 70% duty cycle range with a hci ls7 and that's only 600rwhp or so?
Don't be one of the guys that has to redo the fuel system down the road.
Do it big and do it once, especially with e85 and ethanol stuff.

I also don't know anyone who hasnt max'd out the first set of injectors they bought, I'd go big once and never worry about it again, id1300 or id2000 would be the way id' go
if you don't have methanol yet i'd do that over e85 personally if just looking for safety as cheaper and very effective

Price difference between ID1000s and ID1300s is huge though and if you aren't going over 1000rwhp then why spend an extra $500 for 1300s?
I finally maxed my ID1000s out at ~1200rwhp on 91 and swapping to 1300s, so I see what you are saying, but a lot of people never go over 700-800rwhp because past that it is a huge jump (built motor, drivetrain, etc). ID1000s are cheap and work for most, unless you really want 1000+ on e85 later.

The 1000's have good resale value at least from what I've seen so far

Sold mine for $720. Or have someone lined up once I swap. Maybe this weekend.

Depends on how much power you want. 1300s are a big price jump up. Also ID rates there injectors at 3 bar while many others do 1650s at 4 bar but that isn't much of a difference.
~$1000 for ID1000s, $1600 for ID1300s. If you are never going to need more than 1000s why spend $600 extra for them?
Unless you are going to do a built motor and bigger blower a D1 can't max out the 1000s.
