School me on catch cans
I am contemplating putting in a catch can in my blown GS. Looking into the Mighty Mouse can. Is it beneficial? What version do I need? How do you recommend installing and mounting it? Pics would be great too. Thanks folks.

Installing my MM after I finally put on my new valve covers. I'd say as above, contact Dave as he has been very helpful with my setup and took time out of his schedule to help me with my ignorance of how the whole system works.

I have an Elite....but I like the MM. Too. Either will rock.

Something like this is definitely beneficial especially with a boosted car.

Ok I will add one little thing for you guys lol ! I would assume you guys realize what is located right where DJfury05 has his mounted. Yes that is the fresh air intake for the A/C or cabin air lol! So just think about another place to mount it if you don't want to smell the crankcase vapors in the cabin. I like putting them in the front passenger fender well behind the fog lights if so equipped. GL! Guys. Probably not bad on a stock motor or one with low miles etc... But the more blowby you get the worse it is, and yeah you can put in on recirculate lol.

The MM cans only vent through the filter when needed which from what I saw in the dyno was at pretty high boost. You won't get any smell in normal driving. Now mount other cans where the filter has no valve there and yes, it stinks.
One of the reasons to go with the MM.

My mechanic is recommending I do away with the factory pcv system altogether. He's not a fan of recirculating the oil. Not sure what to do now as I was set on the MM PCV can.
