Default Making a new Charge Pipe, Where to mount Blow off Valve

Just finished installing my A&A SC Kit and it turns out I will have to make a new 4" charge pipe because the one in the kit does not fit exactly how it should due to my radiator and dual fan setup. Anyhow, My question is Id like to mount a Tial 50mm Blow off valve right on the charge pipe before the TB. This way its a little louder and easier to hear. I would just eliminate the one that comes with the Kit. (inside passanger wheel well Front)

any feedback or issues to doing the blowoff valve here?>

my idea is to do something like this.

Before FMIC. No reason to heat the FMIC and keep it away from MAF.

What about if I just keep both BOV? The original with the kit and just add this one ? The original is about 20" from the inter cooler, the second will be before the TB

Both blow off valves before intercooler. Just put it down by the current BOV or replace that one. No need to mess with upper charge pipe.

I have to make a new charge pipe, the one that came with the kit does not lineup . My buddy is going to make a new one and this would've the time to add something cool like that above, that's the only reason I'm considering it

when i had my novi 2200r on my c5 with a built ls2... 18lbs of boost i ran one tial 50 in stock location and a second up on the upper charge pipe... it worked great. it was a little quieter then with just the one in the stock location.
one thing i will say is keep it as far away from the TB as you can... when i first moved it to the upper charge pipe we put it around 6" away from the TB... when it was there it made this very odd poping noise (air coming out of the BOV) so we moved it to about 12" away and it solved the issue.
the one and ONLY issue i noticed with this is when making a pull and you let off the throttle your hood WILL raise slightly from all the rushing air. but that also depends on pulley sizes etc

You can run it there, but for best performance that isn't the correct place. You want to vent preFMIC so you aren't heating your FMIC just cruising around. Just putting more load on intercooler for now reason.

of course, but one tail 50 in the stock location is more then enough to keep things cool while cruising. i ran it like this for quite awhile and never had an issue, now the kit lives on another car in texas and no issues that i know of. if your going to do it i wouldn't run just the one on the charge pipe

O-seven the idea, just going to make the charge pipe and leave the turbo smart BOV in its location. Ill just remove the filter to make it louder. Thanks for the input guys
