I have the vortech v3 si (A&A) and I need a new oil drain line. Anyone know where to get one?

Thanks

I just made one and put a fitting under the blower that is easier to take off, in case it has to be removed.

The line I made, but you could do the same with stainless.

Just got home. Police evacuated my neighborhood because of a local fire.
Can you post the fitting sizes and types you used? I'm not experienced with them.

Thanks,
Larry

I think he want a line to drain the self contained unit. Not the return line to the oil pan.

I would check with A&A.

Oh, then I misunderstood.... I don't know what you need for that. Not sure why it would need to be braided.... any rubber hose and fitting would do for that.

It was my impression that the self contained units had a remote drain line with a twist type feature that allows the oil to be drained.

I've got a ProCharger and had a local hydraulic shop make up a braided line with the proper fitting at head unit and a small ball valve connected for quick drain.

10 years ago, We just used a syringe and sucked the oil out the fill hole. I think Andy started using the drain line out of braded hose.

But you didn't ever really empty the head unit. 10 years ago I came up with my own. Life should be simple.
