that's awesome.

How are you pulling out of the hole with street tires? I was good when naturally aspirated (1.8x 60' on street tires). With the blower I'm still trying to play around with the perfect launch method. It takes off relatively quick after the 60' mark (e.g. I can get it to hook in 1st up top) just not off the line. Do you ride the clutch a bit? My best on a street tire is 11.40 with similar MPH.

I brought the rpms to about 2,300 rpms while bring the clutch pedal close to where it will start grabbing. Once I'm ready to leave the line I pretty much act as I was on the street leaving a stop sign...feeding the gas pedal while slipping the clutch just a tad longer than normal and quickly stab the gas pedal once I feel that it grabs. I don't powershift and learned that the engine likes to be shifter around 6,700-6,800rpms but I'm cammed. Hope that helps.

Btw, I didn't touch the tire pressure at all. They should be at 31psi since I checked them about a week ago or so.

Okay sounds similar to how I do it (other than riding clutch a bit longer). I don't touch tire pressure either on a street tire. Stock clutch for you? I'm on a twin-disc.

Default New PB

Bringing this thread back from the archives lol
Tonight ran a PB! No changes other than a docile blower cam. Btw, I think I have some belt slip due to the trap and the belt jumped one groove on a previous pass. Lots of dust.

This is the 10.40s pass. Doesn't it looks like I pulled the wheels on that pass?

Yep! I can vouch for it. Just the cooling effect alone is well worth it.

Hi Pitufina, I just purchased the same ECS kit that you installed, what were the dyno numbers before and after the install? I would like to know the HP and TQ gain.

Thanks!!

My car has never seen a dyno as it was street tuned. If I had to guess it's probably making around 630ish because of how safe is tuned even with the cam. It doesn't help that when meth is flowing the afr is in the mid 10s. Not meth dependent at all.
